Buying
Buying a tent or camping equipment
Most bigger towns and cities will have camping or outdoor shops, most of which will stock a range of different makes and sizes of tent. Those not stocked will usually be available from catalogues by mail order.

If you are looking for a bigger frame tent or trailer tent, you can locate a caravan dealership, many of which sell these products as well as caravans and motorhomes.
Buying unseen is taking a risk, especially if you are not familiar with the make or model for sale. The vendor may not be completely accurate with his description, or over-enthusiastic in singing his product's virtures.
Visit caravan dealerships where there will usually be a range of frame and trailer tents on display so that you can explore them thoroughly and discover the good and bad points of the various types. This will give you more confidence when searching through the press or on the internet.
