Number 18 CAMP SITE
Budemeadows Holiday Park, Cornwall If your holiday accommodation comes in a bag with a rubber mallet, this place is bang on. A mile from the surf-strafed strand at Widemouth Bay, and a Camel Trail bike ride from Padstow, Budemeadows combines immaculate facilities, heated outdoor pool, playground, bar, with a proper bucolic sense of getting away from it all. Not big, not crowded, even in high season - but book fast if you want to pitch up here in August.

Practical Motorhome Independent Site Reviews.
Mr and Mrs Jones, the owners, have fifteen years' experience in the business and have seen the demands of their visitors alter in many ways. Families want access to different facilities and value for money is always near the top of their list. So, this site does not charge per pitch, but per person. With separate charges for items such as electricity, you can tailor your stay to your requirements.
First impressions of this site include an atmosphere of quiet efficiency and good-value, clean facilities. Nothing is too much trouble for the team, and Mr and Mrs Jones are always interested in any suggested improvements.
The heated outdoor pool, with separate toddlers' pool, is a boon in the hotter months and the children are catered for with a games room and well-equipped play area near the top touring field. A fully licensed bar takes care of adult entertainment. The on-site shop provides for your basic needs, with supermarket facilities available nearby.
A new drive-in reception area opened early in the 2005 season, offering the opportunity to drive in and be shown straight to your pitch in the high season, subject to the cost of your holiday being fully paid for in advance.
Widemouth Bay and the coastal town of Bude, with its wide expanse of sandy beach, are both within striking distance. As Bude is close to the border with the western part of Devon, day trips within both Devon and Cornwall are possible.
As the site is open all year, it presents the perfect opportunity to discover the West Country away from the inevitable summer crowds.

This site distinguishes itself from others with its quiet efficiency, good value and clean facilities. Nothing is too much trouble for the team, and the owners – the Joneses – who have 15 years’ experience of running sites. What’s more, they are always interested in hearing their guests’ suggestions.
A new drive-in reception area lets you head straight to your pitch in the high season if you’ve paid in advance. Once you’re there, you can relax in the heated outdoor swimming pool.
Youngsters will enjoy the toddlers’ pool, games room and play area. For adults, there is a fully licensed bar.
The park is well-placed for Widemouth Bay, the coastal town of Bude, and day trips around Cornwall and west Devon.
