hi, ive been going to seawick for a long time, since i was about 6 yrs old and im in my 30's now,i remember when the pool was outside.we've seen loads of changes some not for the best but im pleased to say the change now is for the best.although it would be nice to see the emperors bar a little brighter.we only rent but do so anything upto 7 times a year, mainly long weekends etc and do a 1 weeker, my children love it here they are 3 and 6,we always have tears the morning of going home.my mum and myself dont like leaving either. The caravans are always clean and we always find the reception staff very friendly and helpful. The entertainment staff the same,Emma is my little girls favourate,it was nice to see her back this year.We will be back very soon and we cant wait.

I have visited seawick many times but have noticed this site has gone comepletly down hill in the last few years the staff are rude unhelpfull and couldn't care less if you've got a complaint the caravan i stayed in looked like it had never been cleaned the carpets were filthy the mat at the door i had to throw out cos it was rancid the work surfaces were dirty as well as all pots and pans there was a dead blue bottle in one of the kids beds but thats not the worst of it a knife fell from the material attached to one of the cupboards right above where a childs head would be is this the site you wanna bring your kids to I think not its a shame cos its a pleasant area its just this caravan site that should be avoided!

Good Morning

I note your comments, concerning Seawick Holiday Park.

My name is Grant, and I am the General Manager here at Seawick and was concerned to read the posting from vidigav.

As you mention you are currently an Owner here at Seawick, I would be happy to meet with you and discuss your concerns with our park.

I am sure that you would understand that a number of redevelopment projects around the park have commenced during the closed season, and I remain confident that these projects will be completed prior to the Easter holidays in March.

Once again, please feel free to contact me in order that I can resolve your concerns.

Been an owner on this site now for 4 years. The reviews are correct the site does look like a bomb has hit it. Each owner has to pay near on £3K and well for what to have had you fences removed. I always try to give peple the benefit of the doubt and look towards the bigger picture but there is two weeks to go before the park opens. Will the club house be revamped? Will the have got d of the rubish entertainment staff the had last year? Will there be lighting and even surfaces arond the caravans or will it just be the big rip off it was last year?

Only tme will tell but I hope I am proven wrong and will be the first to post and apologise on tis site.

If you thinkingof buying a van wait a few months, speak to the woners not to the sales staff and by the way the sales maanger who someone complained about in a previous comment 'only seemed interested in selling me plastic decking' - 3 guesses what her husband does for a living!

This is a lovely park, we were looking at buying a caravan in the clacton area looked round a few of the parks, St Osyth Beach over the road is an amazing park, but we decided on Seawick as there was more to do for the kids.

Used to come here as a youngster and was always a favorite for a good family holiday so decided to by my own holiday home here... BUT it seems since the new takeover by Park Holidays it is has changed for the worse, staff seem stressed and unhelpful the site is like a bomb has hit it. The new area manager and park manager are no use at all, don't expect any face to face contact or even a returned telephone call when you need to talk to them. The scouse saleswoman who over saw the sale promised the earth but when it came to it couldn't back up her promises, the odd jobs that needed doing in the van (a few repairs and missing door handles) took weeks to do. all she wanted to do was flog me decking for several thousand pounds...(in fact it was incredibly expensive) first things first, a drain that didn't block every few weeks would be good start. i am now making provisions to sell my van QUICK. a shame as i only have had it a few months but this place i once loved is now my worse nightmare! holiday makers and potential holiday home owners beware!!!!!
