Five Star Review

we visited here in september this year, when we arrived we was asked how far we had travelled which was about a four and a half hour trip they told us to leave the van where it was sat us down on the bench outside and made us a cup of coffee. you don't get that at every place you stop do you?this more or less set the standard for the week very clean /very quiet.very good dog walk and you can let them run off lead on the field next to the site which i though was good. the other people who stayed on site that week was exellent most of whom had 5 minutes to stop for a quick chat on there way past which i find very rare nowadays.loads of places to visit nearby

Practical Caravan Great Escapes

This smart, adults-only site has hardstanding pitches divided by trees and hedges. There is plenty of space around each pitch, so you never feel crowded, and the site is sheltered by a large bank and mature trees. Two Mills has been awarded a David Bellamy Gold Award because of the owners’ dedication to conserving the natural setting and its abundance of flora and fauna, and its all kept in impeccable order. The site is seven miles from Wroxham, one of the main towns in the Broads. Facilities are very good, and include a modern, heated washblock with free showers and a disabled washroom. There is also a small but well-stocked shop that sells newspapers and fresh milk.

Practical Motorhome Independent Site Reviews.

This is an adults-only site. On two levels, it has 50 generously-sized pitches, all with hook-up. On the higher level are ‘panoramic' pitches, fully serviced and very peaceful. The lower pitches, which are all hardstanding, each has a grass area for relaxing next to your motorhome. The owners will also help you pitch your vehicle if necessary.
This six-acre site is very tranquil. A well-defined dog-walk encircles the site (all dogs must be kept on a lead). There is an area for walking, and for the energetic to play badminton without disturbing other campers.
The current site owners are themselves experienced caravanners, and moved to North Walsham about a year ago. You will find an excellent information room at this site, and a comfortable lounge with tea and coffee facilities, where you can relax and perhaps read from the well-stocked library, or battle with a jigsaw puzzle.
The sanitary facilities, with a separate facility for the disabled, are excellent. Telephone and TV reception is variable due to the surrounding high ground, but the owners provide mast TV aerials for hire.
Resident wardens and CCTV at the site entrance add to the sense of security. The site is open at Christmas and New Year, and provides a peaceful escape for those who seek it.
If you need a rest, or a break from cooking in your motorhome, 150 yards across the road is a country house hotel which provides Christmas lunches and other meals.
The surrounding areas are good for cycling and walking, and close to the Norfolk Broads at Wroxham. Historic Norwich is within a short drive, with all its shopping facilities and its glorious cathedral. The nearby town of North Walsham is an easy walk away and has a supermarket and a range of smaller shops for those items not available in the pleasant site shop.
