Crofthead is one of Ayrshire's premier, four star parks offering a relaxing and peaceful ambience, surrounded by beautiful rural Ayrshire though only a mere two miles from Ayr town centre.The McCormack family ensure that 'family values' and a 'traditional caravanning' atmosphere are retained despite the remarkable upgrading the park has seen since they bought it in 2001.Indeed, 2006 has been extremely busy as an 8 acre holiday development has just been completed for holiday caravans for private use.An extensive range of new and pre-owned holiday homes are available to view and finance is available on request.
All hire vans are 'top of the range' and "Thistle Awarded". Each holiday home is superbly equipped and along with one log cabin, they are all centrally heated and double glazed.
All touring pitches are fully serviced and all are hard standing.2006 saw a major refurbishment of the toilet blocks. There is a well serviced laundry and shop which is open seven days.
The recreation hall has been extensively refurbished in 2005 offering pool tables, Air hockey and many other games.
