If Norfolk means ‘beach’ to you, then book into Pinewoods. It is about a mile from the seaside town of Wells, and a short walk through a municipal car park to the town’s golden sand and beach huts. There is space for 150 tourers, over three fields. The sanitary facilities are a bit on the basic side, however, visitors do benefit from such amenities as a launderette, a pool room, a boating lake and a well-stocked supermarket from which you can order freshly baked bread. Pinewoods also has a take-away service, including freshly cooked chicken.
