I agree completely with cgoulden's review. I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay. Half the pitches appear to be "residential" and the levels of noise are unacceptable for a touring site.

We complained, left a day early and were promised a refund for the night we didn't stay, but the refund has never arrived, despite their promises.

I have just came back from a stay at Nostell holiday park.
It is a very clean and beautiful site,
I was working in Featherstone(near by)for a week,
And to return back to the site everyday after work was very relaxing,
Very clean toilets and showers,
Beautiful surroundings,
Thank you for my stay Nostell.

3 May 2008: cgoulden from Perthshire reviewed Nostell Priory Holiday Park

We stayed at this site for 3 nights only in April 2008. It is a very boggy, wet site with deep ruts made by 4 wheel drive vehicles which don't appear to have ever been flattened or filled in. The hard standing pitches are small and our small porch awning overstretched onto the grass, it is advised to park cars in the car park when the weather is wet, if you don't have a 4 wheel drive please heed this warning! No views from pitches with overhaning trees making rainy nights especially noisy. Due to there being some residents on the touring site noise first thing in the morning was a problem, cars revving etc with people going to their places of work from 5.30am onwards, also lots of traffic due to the large residential site at the rear, all the traffic passes the touring site to get off the site and our pitch was beside the drive. Staff are extremely friendly but the shop isn't very good, not many lines stocked. No bread, milk etc when I went in. Showers dated but very clean, on our last morning there was no hot water for my shower however. Good laundry. Lovely walks around the park. Wouldn't recommend this site for anyone wanting to spend days in the caravan relaxing. Expensive for what it is charges extra for dogs and awnings, unsure if children are charged as extras as we didn't have any.

response (30 Dec 2008)

Winter 2008, we are putting in a tarmac area for getting to/from pitches, and a drainage system. This should stop the "wet" areas.
