Ideal location situated betweenSouthport /Preston towns.I found the staff very helpful and the site was quiet at this time of the year. There are many Seasonal Pitches(some of these vans are looking very dirty and untidy,in my view spoiling the look of the site)
The toilet blocks are very clean and tidy and with plenty of hot water in the showers and other facilities. There is an excellent area for dog walking and space for children to play in a seperate area.Note, that some pitches only have 10Amp supply, this caused tripping and a callout for the Warden on my first night. I enjoyed my stay here but i had one serious complaint....most mornings we were disturbed about 5 am with hens and cockrels crowing outside my caravan.Overall an ideal Park for a short or long stay.
We have used this site for every Spring Bank Holiday for the past 20 years, we have seen many changes but consistantly throughout we have been well treated by the staff, we came when our youngest daughter was 6 months old she is now 18 and as recently as last Spring Bank Holiday we bought our grandson who was at the time 3 months old. I find the park to be wonderful for families with children or couples on their own. We will here again this Spring Bank too. I highly recommend this site
