This site is the Ritz of caravan sites. Adults only and perfect for a couple, singles or a stop over with the motorhome.

They have a shop, a swimming pool and only 15 pitches. The showers/toilets are extremely clean and you can sit on the loo and look at photos of the wildlife that visits the site on the back of the loo doors! The grounds are absolutely immaculate and doggies are made very welcome, as long they are exercised off site. The lane just outside is absolutely perfect and there is a public footpath across the fields directly behind the site.

We were made to feel so welcome and Sue and Ian were very helpful getting us set up and level. The site is extremely quiet and wonderful for a relaxing break.

Greendale has a David Bellamy Gold Award and there are lots of bird feeders and nesting boxes around the site. It's great sitting in your caravan and watching them all.

Close by you have Rutland Water, Oakham and Melton Mowbray.

The nicest caravan site we have ever been to - and we've booked to go again in July when the pool is open - can't wait!

Very well done Sue and Ian and keep up all your good work.
