A deposit of one night's stay is required at the time of booking. Full payment is due 28 days before your arrival date. Bookings made within four weeks of your holiday date must be paid in full at the time of booking; please enclose the full amount with your booking form.
We regret that we cannot refund any monies paid, either by way of deposit or balance, due to cancellation at any time, for whatever reason.
Three nights minimum booking applies during Bank Holidays (Friday to Monday).
Within easy reach of Holy Island, The Farne Islands, Cheviot Hills and many historic castles, including Alnwick Castle, with its magnificent landscape gardens enhanced by spectacular water features, and where the world famous Harry Potter stories were filmed. Just returned from a bank holiday weekend and had a great time. Received a warm welcome by the warden who was helpful and personally took us to our pitch to help with the caravan. The toilet block and showers have been rebuilt and are modern, clean and warm. All pitches are now hard standing and electric hook up/water. The added bonus of a skate park for older children is great and there is a play park. The shop is ok not the biggest I've seen on campsites but Bamburgh is only one mile away. There is also an excellent garage and restaurant/bar at the top of the main A1 road which we enjoyed a very reasonably priced Sunday roast.

First impressions of site are good - well maintained grounds. But when you get to the facilities for tourers they are shocking. There are two showers that you can hardly turn around in let alone take you and your children into. The lights dont come on till its dark so as soon as you shut the door your in darkness. The toilet area is stuck in a time warp which is fine if they were kept clean but they arent.
All in all i would not recommend this site.
