Myself & hubby just come back from a wk at this site with our caravan what peace quiet we had. Penny the owner cant do enough to help you we got fresh eggs from her chickens which were 80p half dozen free range. The site very clean tidy we will definately be bak on this site again. Its gets busy at weekends but hey what more can u ask for for peace quiet during the wk. You had to access the touring bit threw a gate that you need to have a code for which made u feel bit more secure. You have to go garstang for the nearest supermarket which is 10mins approx down the rd turn right outta the park. This is 1 of the best sites in lancashire we have been on if u like the countryside this is 1 to visit we went on the nature trail walk that goes at the bak of the site which was heaven if you like that sort of thing.

the 1st bank holiday in may 2008, we stayed at wyreside farm park. in our touring caravan. from the minute we arrived on friday afternoon we were met by a lovely lady called penny who is the site owner, she made us feel very welcome, you access through an electric gate , which makes you feel that bit secure, the field was very big and there were plenty of hook ups, there was a seperate field if you have children , to play in which you could see at all times, so they are not near caravans or motorhomes or tents, there are 2 toilets and 2 showers these were very clean and always free, even though the site was nearly full, these to are accessed by a code, just up the side of pennys house there is a footpath this comes out onto the river wyre a lovely walk.and 5 minutes to the nearest pub called the grapes, does good food, if you turn right out of the site there is a shop about 5 minutes walk which sells everthing, but if you like eggs penny sells some lovely fresh free range from her own chickens, they greet you on arrival, we have put this site in our top ten as we will be back soon, and would recommend to any one,
