Not visited for a few years so what a surprise to see the super new club house - pool, gym (avoided that), bar and good home cooked food. Site is just as we remembered and has great wardens John & Avril. Even helped when car battery was flat! Our touring days are over but we will crtainly be back again to stay in the same caravan. Well done Fell End!

Fantastic Park! The staff were very helpful & polite. The new Clubhouse has a super restaurant (good value for money), the swimming pool kept the children occupied for hours - as did the softplay area. All in all we had a great Easter Holiday - Thank you!

this site is being neglected by the owners. They have recently purchased another site in the Lune valley and staff have advised me that resourcers are prioritised to that site.
The toilet block at the top of the site should be condemmed, its always dirty, there are tiles missing off the walls which I know have been missing since january. The handle falls off one of the showers. The ladies cysterns leaks, as advised by a member of staff. Even woodland patch the has a ladder step between two levels has two steps missing( I reported this in November and it has still not been fixed.
The recent new center with canteen (chosen that word carefully) and swimming pool would suit a school better. The place is not welcomimg and sound very noisy even with a few people in as it is all hard echoing surfaces. The beer is poor and overpriced. the swiiming pool was meant to have a jacussi and other facilities but have never been developed and a shower in the pool area does not work with a notice asking people not to use it. The Wi-fi that was in the new complex does not work anymore and when asked when it would the answer was "we don't know". the power supply to the site is insufficient, so that when the site is full (Easter) the water supply cut off four times as the pump could not cope. The "cable" TV is a freeview service which occasionally does not work, again worse when site busy.
This site seems to be all about sqeezing every last penny from it rather than providing a good service to its customers so they will come back.

Parked car & caravan near to reception... all looked welcoming... nice wooded area. Collected details from reception... looked like a nice swimming pool, bar etc... new smart building. Was looking forward to our 3 night stay. Drove round to area for tourers... all concrete & shale, no grass in sight. We parked up in our space opposite the toilet block & shook our heads in disappointment. We were tired from our journey & decided to set up quickly & go out for a meal. Could not put our awning up, as we only had pegs fit for grass. Whilst setting up, a young boy banged a stick on what sounded like a bin lid for half an hour... a nice welcome. We came back a couple of hours later & couldn't believe that they had squeezed a large mobile home onto the end of the row & nobody could get out. Surely this is a health & safety issue. Groups of people were sitting drinking & having a good time. We watched a movie, then went to bed, with the noise of people going past our van (on the shale) to the toilet. At 12.15am one couple started to have a very loud argument... this was the last straw. The next morning we went on a search for an alternative site. After 3 hours or so of looking, we came across Black Beck caravan park, what a blessing. We went back to what felt like a car park at Fell End, hitched up the caravan & left asap.
