Trecco Bay Holiday Park - Parkdean Holidays

Well how do i start, we went by trian and took a taxi to trecco bay which took about 15/20 mins and costs £10/12 we thought was really good. We arrived at trecco bay went to reception was welcomed warmly with welcome pack and our keys straight away was 1hour 15min early so was very pleased with that. We stayed in the llangfair caravan new for 2012 and it didnt dissapoint 2 bathrooms 3 bedrooms 1 a en-suit washer/dryer full very nice kitchen. Would say dont forget your hand towels as we did took every other towel but that one. The resturant was on the pricey side and dont think we would go there again we had scampi, steak n ribs and a childs sausages and it was £40, but there is a lovely fish n chip shop that does a great family deal a pizza place (we didnt use) and a number a burger places to eat. Would deff recommend the footlong hotdog from the showdome they are great.There is a sweet shop and a beach shop and a laundrette. The walk into Porthcawl is a lovey one penlty to do along the way and all the cheap shops when you get there to top up the fridge as the onsite shop is very expensive. Gorgeous beaches all around the bay and the entertainment in the evening is great for kids. The bar is on the pricey side but you dont have to buy a drink to enjoy the shows. There are kids clubs but we didnt use them so cant comment. The lunch menu from the resturant again is expensive £16 for 3 sandwiches and 2 drinks. But the park and outside water splash are fantastic and the crazy golf is a must and so much fun thats £3 a person or family for £10 the swimming pool is lovely and is free on the entertainment passes (they dont tell you that) we went from mon to fri and didnt run out of things to do but if stayed any longer we wouldve needed a car to go further afield. Overall it was fantastic but expensive me my boyfriend and our little boy whos 3 had a great time.

One of the best sites we have ever visited. Friendly staff and a wonderful location near Porthcawl and surrounded by beach. Lovely swimming pool with flume and Pirate play area for little ones.
Entertainment was fine.

we have just come home after spending a wonderful 4 days at trecco bay caravan park.The caravan,site and staff were were some of the best we have ever experienced.We were less than 5mins walk from the wonderful beach and about the same for the shops etc.The caravan was extremely well equipped and clean,the site was very well maintained by very unobstusive staff and vehicles we did not want to come home and will definately go again soon .

I love it here.I go here all the time with my brothers as my nans and pop own a caravan in the otchard sections.It is really nice down here all the staff are friendly and listen to any of your problems.You can make lots of friends with the parkdean troopers there are really nice aswell.I recommend this campsite to anyone with or without children.Its the place to be.

My nan has a caravan down here and i come here regulary, The staff are good, Maxi is the best ! :D LOVE HIM ! When u there go to the showdome and go by the bar and u will see a man that workes there and looks like Trecco Bays mascot "Maxi" :O:L Ommg should see him boy ! Splitting image, me and my mate see him al the time and hes out BEST FRIEND ! :D

i have been to this park on several occasions with and without the children and i think its a great place to go with plenty of things both on and off the site to keep people amused. the staff are very friendly and helpful and if there are any problems they are very quickly resolved.
it is very accessable to motorways and to other towns and places of interest around south wales and would reccomend it to anyone for a holiday.
