The site is set on grass and tarmac in the racecourse enclosure, and only six minutes walk from the centre of Warwick. There are a number of good walks to be taken and nearby there's also a 9-hole golf course with driving range and an area for flying model powered aircraft and model gliders. Nearby Warwick Castle is reputed to be the finest medieval castle in England and an award-winning attraction - it's a full day's visit; The Kingmaker exhibition shows the mighty Earl of Warwick preparing for battle in 1471. You should also visit Stratford-upon-Avon (8m); start with the Heritage Trail or the Shakespeare Story Tour Bus and round it off with the real thing with a visit to the theatre!
