We have just returned from our holiday at Mill Farm and overall I was pleased with the site. The pitches are spacious and well planned although the electric pionts are well spaced out so make sure you have a long hook up wire. The toilet blocks are fine (not luxuary or anthing, just basic) but the cleaning staff work hard to keep them clean....my only complaint would be filthy people who stayed there who didnt flush or clean the toilet after they used it....i felt sorry for the cleaners as they was basically fighting a loosing battle. The blocks would benifit from number coded locks or something to this affect as during the night they was left open and consiquently the next morning they was overun with moths and spiders.
The facilitys on site are good. The boating lake is enoormous fun and being only 1/2 a meter deep, safer for small children although it is not manned so adult supervision s required. The pony rides are good but you as a parent have to lead the ponys round the field with your child. This is very easy though as they are well behaved and trained animals. The indoor pool is good with a small childrens slide and the outdoor pool is clean and loads of fun....not heated though so really cold.... The entertainment was good in the evening althou the prices in the club was a little higher that pub prices but not nearly as bad as some of the larger, well known sites I have stayed at.
The staff are friendly and helpful too. It has its own chippy on site and an ice cream van that vsits all the touring pitches every night.
The childrens club is only on at night, so beware if you want a kids club all day....All in all I really enjoyed my time at Mill Farm and would consider gong again

I have been going to Mill Farm since i was a young lad in the mid 1980's, my mum and dad used to tow their caravan there most weekends and me and my sister would spend pretty much the whole summer holiday there, we were there so often my dad decided to leave his van in their caravan storage for ease, it most definately shortened travelling time from southampton. In the 80'/90's they had a boating lake and a out-door swimming pool and they used to have a mobile fish & chip van that used come on site in peak periods, that was pretty much it back in the day but because it is such a family oriantated site there was always lots to do and lots of fun for us kids.
Nowadays i've grown up a bit and i now have two 6 year old children of my own, 1 boy and 1 girl they absolutley love Mill Farm as much as me and my sister did when we were younger, my Mum and Dad still have there caravan down there and we all still camp there on a regular basis!
Over the years the site has been expanding and being constantly updated, it has a playground for the kids, hot showers / toilet blocks in every field it now has a fantastic indoor heated swimming pool as well as the out door one, There is a large bar on site and has entertainment most nights through the summer months.
And for the people that don't really like going off site it has it's own shop which has pretty much everything you could require from your milk eggs bread to electric hook ups and other diy stuff, and the site now has its own fish and chip shop.

We have 3 genarations of our family now and we all enjoy going to Mill Farm the location is beautifull and there is always plenty to do like walks in the Quantox hills which is about a 10 minute drive away or a walk down the lanes to Stogursey a beautiful village just 2 miles away,
you've got sandy beaches not too far away, Minehead just a short journey by car turning right out of Fiddington or Weston-super-mare by turning left there is loads to do and they have a games room with leaflets of all the local atractions.
Its been an absolute pleasure going to Mill Farm Caravan and Camping Park for all these years and would highly recommend a visit they are open all year round and the staff are always friendly and make you welcome there.
We last visited in November for a week for the Bridgwater carnival which was absolutley fantastic!

I have been going to Mill Farm for many years with my children. The staff are friendly and willing to help when needed. The facilities and the entertainment are excellent with a variety of in-house caberets as well as outside entertainers. During the day, the field that I was in was peaceful.
