What a little gem! We travelled from Scotland and stayed here for 6 nights. This is the most gorgeous and well kept site, with flower borders and lush grassy pitches as well as hard standing. Its within 5 mins walking distance to Lacock Abbey. Its tranquil, quiet and has lovely shower blocks and facilities. There is a playpark and an information area full of leaflets and brochures. With peace, quiet and space, its exactly what we were looking for. Some may think that because it doesn't have a shop on-site it lacks but there are shops only minutes away in Lacock and half a mile along the road there are supermarkets, so plenty of variety to choose from. Lacock is the most gorgeous medieval town and features in period dramas like 'Lark Rise to Candleford', 'Cranford' and 'Downton Abbey'. Lacock Abbey itself was used in the first Harry Potter film and is great to visit with lots to see and do. There are plentiful eateries in Lacock also. The Site Manager was extremely helpful. If we venture this far south again we will definately stay there!!! GO ITS WONDERFUL!
