Owner's description

Just feel the sense of space... Across the road from our park are sand dunes that lead to an unbelievably long sandy beach. And there are Blue Flag beaches nearby too - mile upon mile of them. Nearby is the relaxed seaside resort of Mablethorpe and up-for-it Skegness. On our park the all-action facilities include a pool complex with flumes, go-karts, fishing lakes and climbing wall.

This lively, beachside park has a large and attractive touring area providing 195 pitches set around 2 coarse fishing lakes. A 10 minute walk following the landscaped link path takes you to the extensive park facilities.

Or we have our comfy home from home, self-catering holiday homes? Take your pick from great value Standard to luxury Platinum.

Its 3 years since our last visit and you can see the changes.
The touring wardens were very helpfull and polite ,even under presure they were great.
New toilet /shower block that were modern and kept as clean as they could, Door code for entry but always open so kids running in and out.
Play area for children so thats another bonus ,
The problem is every one seems to park were they like , our pitch was half used by tents with there gazibos and cars they took up to much space.
still a long walk to the main complex. its ok if weather good.
Good fun for children ,but a little on the pricey side I think, £50 a night for tourer.
lts a matter of taste ,

I liked it at this park, yes it's a long way to the entertainment, but the tourers are on a nice quiet field. The loos and showers could do with a tart up, but there was a young girl there cleaning them as well as she could. The staff were helpfull and overall we had a good time.

Adding to the current review on the camping/tourers site...yes it is located on South Park away from the main site.
We as owners of a static caravan give feedback to the park management & have often said the South Park has a fair distance to the main complex.
This is something that certain people like with it being quieter, but i as an owner would not want because of the distance for myself or anyone who rents my van.
In fairness a roadtrain does operate at most times to ferry people round site.
If anyone requires closer access to the main site then you will only be able to book a static caravan.
In booking a static with the site they will put you wherever a van is vacant at the time, you have NO choice in location.
Booking with any static caravan owner like myself you can ask where the van is located onsite.
Personally we chose the main site BUT are located on the edge overlooking the farm for quiteness.
Not wanting to hear the clubhouse till 2am & have many people marching past our caravan.
Our van is located in an area where most vans are owner vans & only a few let their vans out (most keep for own use) hence very little traffic at any time of day/night.
Golden Sands as a park has much to offer for everyone.
The town of Mablethorpe is very good with shops of all sorts BUT what keeps many people coming back year on year is the beaches.
Golden Sands is called this due to its many miles of "Blue Flag" status beaches.
Across the road you will find the Seal sanctuary & a local pub with access to the beach.
