Blackland Lakes Campsite is situated in beautiful countryside close to the Marlborough Downs and is an ideal base to discover the county of Wiltshire.

The matured, landscaped grounds provide a pleasant backdrop for a calming and relaxing break.
Our park has a unique and informal layout which lends itself to all kinds of camping. We have a mixture of small cosy paddocks and larger open areas so that whether you are with a group, in a big RV or camping alone in a small tent you can find a space that's comfortable for you. The site is well boundaried, secure, and away from busy roads which allows children to play and explore safely. We welcome families. Dogs are also welcome as long as they are well behaved and kept on a lead at all times.

The 15 acres comprises 6 tree lined camping paddocks and three small lakes, two for coarse fishing and one as a nature reserve for wildfowl. There are 180 pitches for Caravans and Tents, 130 with electricity and 15 " Fully Serviced Premium Pitches".

The log-cabin style amenity blocks blend with the natural surroundings and include all the usual facilities - showers, toilets, washing up areas, a laundry room and parent & child /disabled facilities.
The Reception Log Cabin also houses the Campsite Shop. This is well stocked with essential food items, drinks, snacks and ice creams. It is also licensed to sell alcohol.
We do stock some items of camping equipment too (handy if you forget your tent pegs) We have a small tourist information section with leaflets on local attractions, events and things to see and do. From here, you can pick up menus for the local take away restaurants that will deliver orders to the campsite,as well as find out about the local pubs and eateries.

England

Peaceful, charming and very relaxed. Having stayed several times with my daughter we have always found Blackland Lakes to be a charming, lovely little English campsite. Its set in a fantastic part of England with wonderful views and great charm. Its a perfect little retreat for families being also very dog friendly with great grounds to walk on and let your children play freely and absorb a lot of nature - which is what campings all about! It has great facilities which cater to all your basic needs. The site is well maintained, clean and tidy. Being tucked away in a gorgeous part of Wiltshire we always enjoy our stay. We love this campsite and look forward to coming back later this year.

We visited this site with friends and have never stayed on such a disgusting site before. Firstly there were no screw fittings on the taps to enable us to attach our water hose. The pressure was so great that it damaged our pressure reduction valve. The pitches were appalling, mostly weeds and mud. As for the shower blocks they were so disgusting, completely unusable, not only old but covered in mud, mould and were dirty. We luckly had showeres in our caravans and didn't use the shower blocks. The dishwashing/vegetable preparation areas were also very dirty. The shop was extremely poor. The whole site looked extremely rundown and untidy. There was a general smell of drains throughout the whole site. [Part of this review has been removed due to it's unfair and rude nature]
