This is a family run site, situated within the grounds of a country house, in rural leafy countryside surrounded by open farmland - ideal for those who want to get away for a peaceful and relaxing break.
There is plenty of wildlife within the grounds including chickens, rabbits, woodpeckers, owls and bats, to name just a few, and a great deal of countryside to explore. The owners, Paul and Alison, aim to provide a tranquil retreat from the stress of modern life and a place to get away from it all. The luxury toilet shower/wet rooms and laundry facilities have to be seen to be believed, and they are receiving great reviews.
There is also now a small, family friendly, licensed bar, complete with plasma TV and a cosy, comfortable atmosphere ideal for chatting to other guests or simply enjoying some time to yourselves.
Children are welcome here, however we do ask that parents supervise their children and respect our other guests' right to peace and privacy. Admission is by prior booking only.
Paul and Alison are continually working to improve the park in response to feedback from guests about their experiences here, so any comments will be welcomed.

Not a site to be recommended-very poorly run. Too many negatives to list, but here are a few:
-arrived in middle of car boot sale
- owner quickly hurried us onto a pitch, said he would come back and cut grass (this never happened)
- Toilets and showers used by car booters
- From Monday to Friday toilets not cleaned, open bins in toilets not emptied, no toilet paper, wash basins not cleaned,no hand washing drying facilites, showers blocked, no privacy curtains at shower windows which were overlooked by owners house.

Basic requirements were not met. Owners dog roamed site and dog dirt all over site. Generally a very bad experience. We have been caravanners for many years and this is the first time we have felt we needed to make a complaint.
