Have just returned from a weeks stay at this site. We arrived and chose a pitch, not too far from one of the two toilet blocks. (Showers were a good size, big enough to have a dry area with hooks, as well as the shower area). Pitches were a good size, allowing for an awning, and an outside sitting area. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Bar and restaurant were excellent. A good varied menu, and up to five 'specials' displayed daily, and unlike many site restaurants, the specials changed periodically. The food was excellent and ensured that we ate there every evening. The bar provided Karaoke, live entertainment and family discos, but were not so noisy that you could not hold a conversation. The site became very quiet at night, allowing for a peaceful end to the day. A site that we will definitely visit in the future.
: July in 2011Wonderful site with gorgeous views over Lyme Bay. Good walks esp.to nearby West Bay & Golden Cap.
Beautiful laid out site with good facilities, pub, swimming pool ,pitch & put, childrens` area , & good walking for dogs.
Stoney beach ,accessible by cliff path , 180 feet below site.
One word of warning for tenters, It Can Get Rather Blowey if storms are about

The well-established Highlands End manages to maintain a high standard of park maintenance while providing a wide range of amenities.
First, this seaside touring park has plenty to keep kids entertained. There are leisure facilities galore, including an adventure playground, mini golf and an indoor swimming pool. Adults will be able to enjoy the steam room, sauna and gym.
The site sits on the clifftop overlooking Lyme Bay, just south of Bridport. This location offers excellent views across the West Dorset World Heritage coastline. The southern edge of the park stretches almost up to the cliffs, and its coastal path leads down to Eype’s shingle beach.
The site is ideal for those who enjoy walking and a great many of the walks are across National Trust land. A stroll to the east will bring you to the attractive little harbour of West Bay, where sea fishing and boat hire are available. A large range of pubs and restaurants will revive the weary traveller here.
An on-site bar serves tasty and reasonably priced pub meals, and houses a display of fascinating fire service memorabilia, including a 1936 fire engine. There is also a restaurant whose Sunday lunches are very popular, so booking is advisable.

Situated on a hilltop close to the sea at Eype and just south of Bridport, this site has excellent views out across Lyme Bay and the West Dorset World Heritage coastline. The southern edge of the park stretches almost to the cliffs, and a coastal path gives access to a shingle beach.

Highlands End sits on a hilltop 550 yards from the West Dorset Heritage
Coastline. The two shower buildings are in excellent condition, as are the
leisure facilities, which include an indoor heated pool, gym, sauna, steam
room and sunbeds (all of which can be used at an extra charge).
The site stretches almost to the cliffs, and the coastal path leads to
a pretty shingle beach. Walking eastward brings you to the attractive
little harbour of West Bay, with its selection of restaurants and pubs.
Sea fishing and boat hire are available here. About two miles inland lies
the historic market town of Bridport, but the site’s own licensed bar and
restaurant mean you don’t have to go far for a drink or a meal out.

Highland End is situated on a hilltop close to the sea at Eype, just south of Bridport, with excellent views over Lyme Bay and the West Dorset Heritage Coastline. All 120 pitches for touring caravans have hook-ups, and 45 of these are hardstanding with full service facilities. The two shower buildings are in excellent condition, as are the leisure facilities, which include an indoor heated swimming pool, gym, sauna, steam room and sunbeds, all at an extra charge.

There is a fully licenced bar on site and
a restaurant, where advanced booking for Sunday lunches is essential. The bar includes a display of Fire Service memorabilia – including a 1936 fire engine.
Highlands End, in the middle of the World Heritage Coastline, is ideally situated for those who love rambling; children will love the adventure playground and beach.

Highland End is situated on a hill top close to the sea at Eype, just south of Bridport, with excellent views over Lyme Bay and the West Dorset Heritage Coastline. This park provides plentiful leisure facilities for its own holidaymakers, and for those of Golden Cap Holiday Park (see opposite page), two miles to the west.
All 120 pitches have hook-up: 45 of these are hardstanding, with full-service facilities. The two shower blocks are in excellent condition (with the benefit of piped music) as are the leisure facilities which include an indoor heated swimming pool, gym, sauna, steam room and sunbeds, but all at an extra charge.
The south edge of the park stretches almost to the cliffs, and the coastal path enables access to a pretty shingle beach, a little way off to the west.
Walking east brings campers to the attractive little harbour of West Bay, with its comprehensive selection of pubs and restaurants. Sea fishing and boat hire is available here, and the shingle beach nestles in the shelter of the, yet-to-be-completed, harbour pier.
About two miles inland lies the historic market town of Bridport, famous (among other things) for its street market. There is a fully licenced bar on site, which provides bar food in addition to its restaurant facility. Sunday lunches here are always in great demand, so if you don’t want to miss out, advance booking is essential. The bar includes a display of fire service memorabilia, including a fire engine dating from 1936.
Highlands End, with its location in the midst of the World Heritage Coastline, is ideally situated for those who love walking and rambling. And children will love the adventure playground and beach. But those who just want to laze the days away will also find this an excellent place in which to do so.

This beautifully situated park has just about everything a family or couple could want for a relaxing holiday, whether you want wholesome activities in the fresh, coastal air or a workout in the gym followed by an indulgent session of steam and sauna. The uplifting views, both to the coast and inland, will put you straight into the holiday mood on your arrival.
The 195 touring pitches are on the seaward side, near the 180 caravan holiday homes through which you have to pass to reach the touring area. Coast-lovers will be drawn straight to the lovely path that leads to the nearby shingle beach, part of the Dorset Heritage Coastline. All of the touring pitches have 10A electricity, while 45 also have fresh water, waste-water drainage, hardstanding and a gravel awning area. The two toilet blocks can be heated and each have washbasins in cubicles with toilets, and showers.
The holiday mood continues through the evening in the site’s lounge bar, where musical evenings are laid on in the high season. There’s also a restaurant and a takeaway service. There is a fantastic range of leisure activities on offer at Highlands. For children, favourites will be the heated indoor pool, the pitch and putt course, adventure play area and beach, while adults can enjoy relaxing on the sun beds and in the sauna.
