I stayed here for several nights while following the Offa's Dyke trail in a little Wheelhome Vikenze micro-campervan for Practical Motorhome magazine. The owner was very welcoming and the facilities were spotless (I quite enjoyed the canned music in the heated washblock). The whole site is well laid out, with pristine hard standings. Dogs are well catered for. I walked past some attractive holiday lodges to Hopes of Poston, the little grocery shop on the site, which stocked appetising local produce and had the feel of a farm shop, which I liked. If I'm ever in the Golden Valley area again, Poston will definitely be on my list of places to stay. In fact, I'd drive out of my way to stay here.

This site is lovely and deserves all the awards it has been given. It is beautifully maintained and the toilets and showers are spotless. Staff are friendly and helpful. It was a lovely peaceful site with walks along the river from the park. They had thought of the little things. Probably the nicest campsite we have stayed at. Only comment is I could not believe a camp site shop does not open on a Sunday until the end of May. They even had a treasure hunt for the children to do around the grounds. The restaurant was quite good, food was average to good and reasonably priced but service was not brilliant, especially as they were not that busy. However a brilliant weekend. Thank you very much.
