fantastic place to visit, for a first time caravaner, facilities were great and very clean.
the shop on site had most things that we had forgot, also did a brillant breakfast for 99p.
wonderfull for us as we had a dog, lots of space to doing walking with him. only draw back there was the dog walking field was very water logged but nothing a pair of wellies can't cure if i had known.
would throughly recommend the site, everyone one who worked there was happy to help and nothing was too much of a problem for them.

Decided to stay at riverside, for its central location to Stratford and surrounding areas. The site is well run and well managed, the toilets and shower areas, regularly cleaned to a high standard, but very busy when camp site is near full. Cars are restricted to 5mph on site, rightly so, but youngsters on site have no limits on thier bikes, as this seems to be a pet friendly site, be prepared at breakfast times, to see numerous dog owners, carring bags of dog poo, in clear plastic bags.

We decided to stay at Riverside Caravan Park after a recommendation from a friend. On arrival we chose our own pitch and given a tour of the site, the all grass pitches are in excellent condition as are the shower blocks and the recreation field. There is a shop/cafe which offers various meals including their famous 99p breakfast. In the evening there is use of the adjacent static site clubhouse which has a children's playground.
The highlight of the site is its location it sits on the picturesque river Avon which is ideal for fishing and duck feeding. It has a fabulous river-taxi which takes you into Stratford Upon Avon for a very reasonable price. This ride is relaxing and saves on car parking.
A short walk from the site is the village of Tiddington this has a local shop a Chinese and Indian restaurant and a pub which serves food. There is also an unusual tapas bar which we ate at for my husbands birthday the food was delicious and the staff friendly. It also serves snacks and coffee during the day and sells fresh bread, meat, cakes etc.
The Riverside Caravan Park is a little gem in a great location which we will be returning to again and again.
