Please do not waste your money booking here directly with the caravan site. It's dirty scruffy smelly, pet hairs everywhere. Stains on sheets holes and cigarette burns on sheets. Dirty pot and pans, just a very dirty disgusting place.
Nothing is ever open and pool is dirty and disgusting to.
Wish I could upload pictures of this place.

Disappointed very bad experience
Dirty caravan with a sign asking us not to open window. Dirty fridge, stain on sheets, leaking kettle with rusty element
Only 1 poor open and after 3 attempts we couldn’t get on to swim ( after queuing half an hour each time ) so had to pay to take children to local leisure centre to swim.
Many stay unhelpful and unfriendly. Seem to need better training on public relations.
30%+ of machines in arcade broken or had coins blocked in them
Was woken on first night at 1am by loud, rowdy guests shouting and swearing.
Toilets in entertainment area were dirty, no hand wash, no paper towels and the hand drier hardly worked.
All in all I would never go here again

Doesn't warrant 1 star, in fact the sh☆tole should be shut down full stop everyone on site I spoke to said the same. The showbar stunk of ••••••, human extrament (shit) in the on site swimming pool absolutely disgusting, the 2 woman on reception and the female manager in the back useless how they still have jobs is beyond belief rude as ••••••. To top it all off £4 for a warm, flat & heavily watered down 50%-50% pint vile tastes like vomit. Only thing they got right is the name, "Lyers n Thieving hood". Steer well clear from hear. Honestly I wouldn't go back this place if it was FREE the business is based on sucking YOU the customer who keep the site alive "DRY Literally" they are Blood-Suckers, as for WIFI £10 per "DEVICE" not per Caravan vultues.

The worst place I've ever come across, absolute rubbish, the sales team only care about selling do Not buy a caravan from these people, I could go on for ages but one of the things is that they left us with a gas leak for over a week not one person did anything myself and my husband were very ill in this time. Libby who works here is useless I don't know how she has stayed in this job for so long. We have had enough and will be moving and taking legal action!

We have owned our own caravan for years on Robin Hood. Its a great site. The staff are always friendly. Camp is always clean & well maintained. We like the way for the last few year money has been spent around the sites improving the facilities.
Although we r looking forward to 2015 there will be 1 thing missing the fabulous Peanut & Bambam. We will miss them. They have been the best entertainment team the site has ever had.
We would recommend Robin Hood to anyone whether they are buying a caravan or having a holiday.

Having visited Robin Hood over a couple of years with friends we decided to look for our own caravan. The sales team And especially Darren were amazing, very helpful and cannot do enough to assist.
We picked a lovely site after having the choice of the whole park, and were under no pressure to pick.
The site is accommodating for all age groups and the site continues to improve year on year. During the summer months it can get very very busy, this year they introduced outside bars and entertainment, this proved a great hit. The park is always very clean, and well maintained. On site bars, entertainment, indoor pools, play area for under 5yrs, park area, arcade, pool, chip shop, Sunday carvery, bar snacks , good range of drinks, kids clubs.
5 minutes walk to the beach. Location between Rhyl and Prestatyn.
Excellent choice for a fun packed family break.

Great entertainment in the clubs met a nice family who we're staying in a chalet who were also happy an suprised at the cleanliness of where they were staying all thoe they did state it needed updating in which I also agreed but over all the cleanliness was excellent found all staff around the park to be friendly an helpfull pointing us in the right direction of places we will defo be looking to re-book for the summer :)

Having read most reviews good and bad. I have to say that we had a good time. We stayed in the Lyons chalets, we could behave upgraded but I chose not to and still stand by my decision. The chalets were dated and our mattress really could have done with being replaced a long time ago due to the springs sticking up but this was easily remedied by placing an additional duvet on the top of the mattress. The kitchen was clean and we were able to cook a meal even in the absence of oven pans and a grill pan. We got out and about and had a good time. We didn't go to the entertainment so I can't comment. We spent some time in the arcade which was reasonably priced. Onsite staff were friendly and helpful.

Arrived early on Monday and caravan was ready for us to go into. Slight problem, sink plunger wouldn't work and Nicki bless her upgraded us and we had a brand new caravan. On Saturday my daughter hurt her head on stairs up to caravan and blood was pouring down her face, I ran with her to the main reception and Nicki immediately got the first aid box. Nicki then phoned for a ambulance and was given advise which she re-laid back to me. Nicki and her colleagues looked after my daughter whiles I ran back for my bag and phone, when I returned they had took my daughter into a room so she was not in public view and gave her a lovely cuddly Leo, and all people involved was so caring and lovely towards her. We were then taken by ambulance and my daughter had to have the cut to her head glued. Would like to add the ambulance person was fantastic and once we arrived at the hospital they were so lovely towards my daughter and she was not so shaken up from the whole experience of being in A&E. When we arrived back all staff wanted to know how she was, she was treated like royalty. Later that day my son was given a Leo also and that made his holiday, one happy little boy.
Nicki , Libby, Amy and colleagues we want to say a big THANK YOU. I hope Lyons realise what a fantastic caring considerate team they have working within this park. You made the whole holiday better than we expected by the way you treated us. My children were so happy and then sad when we had to leave they wanted to stay a few extra days, they enjoyed all the attention.
I would recommend everyone should visit Lyons Robin Hood Holiday Park Ryle, I will defiantly be back next year. Best caravan holiday we had and a lovely caravan so clean. Must not forget to thank the male cleaner and the maintenance man, Nicki you deserve a pay increase and promotion. Thank you Thank you for everything you did for us your amazing :)))

Recently spent a week in a privately rented caravan which was beautiful!! Site very well maintained! Found all staff very friendly and welcoming the only faults we found were a few issues with the toilet facilities but these would be easily remedied and some of arcade machines were either not switched on or broken. We have two young children who loved every minute and have never enjoyed the kids club so much!! A special mention to peanut and bubbles who were wonderful with our children!! The pool was clean and staff lovely!! To sum up if you want to be welcomed and have a good British seaside holiday then you will struggle to find a better or more friendly site!! We will be back next year!! Thank you peanut, bubbles, bam bam, cookie , pixie and all the staff at lyons for a lovely stay!!

Me and my family had a brilliant weekend at Robin Hood Rhyl. The reception staff were really nice when we went to pick up our welcome pack. As we arrived at our caravan the bedding was set up nicely and everything was perfect. The bar staff and entertainment staff were excellent to me and my children. I really would suggest robin hood to anybody looking for a great holiday away with the children. I don't understand how anybody can say nasty things about this place as it was amazing.

As an owner I feel the chalets let this place down, I have a caravan and small minded people who sulk about the chalets spoil it for me and the rest of the owners, maybe the chalets are not the best but the site is a great site with amazing facilities and great staff!

We visited 25th-31st august and what a great holiday we had.
Loads going on day and night.
We have 4 kids aged 1,2,3 and 9.my younger 3 enjoyed the play area whilst my eldest really enjoyed the sports court.
Swimming pool great although changing room are small imagine would be nightmare if busy.
All in all we really enjoyed our week away and would consider coming here again.

We have just returned from a five day break at lyons robin hood caravan park. We went last year at the same time and as always a lovely relaxing break. The reception staff are a credit friendly and helpful the caravan was fantastic modern and spotlessly clean. We don't have children but if we did there seems to be plenty of activities for them. The only thing stopping me giving five stars and it's only a minor thing is the staff at the on site chippy. We asked them what time they closed and felt them to be abrupt and unhelpful. They wouldn't tell us a time just said "keep an eye on us" not helpful at all and when we did get served it felt like they were doing us a favour ! We did have the same problem last year and it's a shame because they are letting all the other staff down . Will be back again as overall a lovely break

The Holiday Park is located just off the sea front roughly midway between Prestatyn and Rhyl and very easy to locate. The beach, which was reached within a matter of minutes from our accommodation, was sandy, clean, vast and dog friendly. You are able to walk either into Rhyl or Prestatyn along a walkway/cycle track that runs alongside the beach (and golf course) and the walk will take you approximately 40 minutes to the center of both towns. Alternatively buses also run from right outside the Park and taxis are also easily available. The accommodation that we stayed in was an 8 berth caravan, with three bedrooms, and was ideal for our party with ample parking for at least 4 cars at the side.
There are so many places to either eat out at or get take away's from, within close reach, plus the Park has numerous places to obtain food from and also offers a variety of bars and entertainment.

I stayed at lyons Robin Hood for one week 19th - 26th of June with my family and friends. I stayed in a silver A caravan RA23 and when I arrived I gave the caravan a look around to ensure best standards and realised shortly the wood on chairs had been broken in 2 places and a few other faults. I went down to the reception to inform them of this and was told some one will be out shortly about 40 min -1hour and all of my issues were resolved. So if you find anything wrong don't complain on here sort it with the reception they are happy to help and it gets dealt with as quickly as possible even when no maintenance is on site. So thank you. Now the entertainment was great there was something for every one I really enjoyed dancing queen but out of all this on my last night Friday the 25th the entertainment was outside with so much to do the entertainment on the lorry/stage was out of this world and so much better to watch the show in the sun outside. I could go on and on about this site as we all thoroughly enjoyed it. I would recommend any one to stay here you would have a great time. Whilst there I looked at buying a caravan and will hopefully be back on another holiday this year to purchase one. Well done lyons Robin Hood you were all amazing.

Add your democratic voice to the new proposed Bill by Darren Millar AM (Welsh Assembly) before September 2013. It seeks to gain better rights for caravan owners and holiday makers by ensuring all caravan park owners give fair contracts and pitch agreements for all and route out bad park operators. Don't stay here!! I am so dissapointed and shocked at how poor this site is i was compelles to write a review, if i can stop one hard working family from wasting their money by holidaying here then thats great! Caravan was dirty when we arrived. Gaps in all the windows filled with newspaper, hole in bathroom wall filled with loo roll, kettle leaked. The site was very poor. We have 2 children, one is 2 another 10 wks, took my two year old to the Leo's kids club, all it was was a crate of crayons on the stage a few cars and a large bean bag, no staff based entertainment, no staff! The arcade had nothing for young children, one 2p machine and the rest are bandits. The main room Forresters was only open on the Sat night we arrived, closed all week. The evening entertainment is cr*p! Horse/ dog race nights badly organised, singers were awful. The shop is closed by 7! it is very sparse, no stock, and staff very rude, not made to feel welcome at all. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!

Don't visit this holiday park, they don't know what a holiday means to people. They don't know the meaning of the word "HOLIDAY" Not a single member of staff smile.... They are run by jobs-worth, unprofessional miserable people.
Had to score a 1 as it won't allow a ZERO!!!
Please take my advice and go elsewhere!!!

My grandparents had a caravan here for years when my nan was told she was terminally ill we approached them about us selling the van. We were told that it was going to cost thousands to move it and it wasnt worth anything now anyway and would cost my grandparents money to sell it on the site. They advised we just sign it over they would waive the disconnection fee for gas etc but was not worth anything as 8 years old. Today my mum found another set of keys and took them to the office and guess what the van is for sale for £8500.00!!!!
