Redwell Fisheries Caravan Park is a small, privately owned and run holiday park in Arkholme, Lancashire. Now open all year round, Redwell Fisheries offers lodges for hire and self-catering apartments to guests, as well as having a touring and camping area on the site. The park has room for 18 touring caravans or motorhomes, with some seasonal pitches available for you if you would like to make this your base for lots of great holidays in Lancashire all year round. Hard standing or grass pitches are both available to guests. All touring pitches are serviced with electric hook ups, as well as water and drainage systems. Camping pitches are not serviced, offering a truly authentic camping experience.

Amenities available at the park for all guests to use during their stay include toilet and shower blocks, as well as washing up facilities.

The lakes at Redwell Fisheries make up approximately five acres and are split into four. All are interconnected, and guests are free to swap fishing pegs throughout the day if they’re not getting success. A range of fish inhabit the lakes, including Mirrors, Roach, and Tench. Anyone considering staying at Redwell Fisheries are encouraged to be clear on the site rules before making a booking. Memberships are available for those planning to return, with members able to enjoy significant discounts on fishing rates throughout the year.

Guests staying at the park will find plenty to do in the local area during the evenings as well as during the days when they feel like a break from sitting at the lakeside.

The nearest public house is a short, five minute walk away, and serves a number of local ales as well as great tasting, home cooked food. Guests will also find a wide range of other pubs and restaurants within a short drive, while the close proximity of Redwell Fisheries to the M6 motorway means guests can always head a little further afield in search of what they’re looking for.

Anyone looking to enjoy the outdoors can enjoy immediate access to the Lune Valley, which offers some of the most beautiful landscape in the north west. Quirky market towns and villages filled with 17th and 18th century architecture can be found everywhere, and the region is explored equally well on foot or bicycle.

The nearest city is Lancaster, famous for its castle and priory, and is another wonderful place to admire amazing architecture. The town of Morecambe is also close by, and is filled with great shops as well as boasting a famous and popular seafront. Nature lovers should head to Morecambe Bay to view the migratory birds that are usually seen in the area, while the Leighton Moss Nature Reserve, operated by the RSPB, is also found close by for bird watching enthusiasts.

The Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks are also easy to get to from Redwell Fisheries, and have their own range of activities and exciting places to visit.
