The Oaks is an adults-only site surrounded by peaceful Suffolk countryside. It enjoys an excellent location, close to the Viking burial grounds of Sutton Hoo, and is within a short drive of Felixstowe’s beach, promenade and noted Sunday market.
A large patio area next to the reception provides seats where you can relax with friends and watch players on the boules courts, and on the croquet and quoits pitches. It’s also a great spot for al fresco meals, and barbecues are made available for campers to use. If you want to work off all those sausages, you can hire a bike from reception and explore the surrounding lanes and villages. The flat countryside makes for easy cycle routes, whatever your fitness levels. For the less energetic, a courtesy bus service runs from the site into the village. There’s also a local bus service that stops outside the site and will take you to neighbouring towns. A new facility for the disabled is now under construction.
This site is a breath of fresh air, with friendly owners and staff who keep the place in tip-top order.

The Oaks is an adults-only touring park.
Its pitches are large, well-spaced, nd attractively separated by trees and flowerbeds. All the pitches are within a short walk of the the pristine amenities, and each offers 16A electric hook-up. Ample water and drainage points are located close to hand.
On-site security is excellent, with entrance and exit gates in place that are operated by security code. The number is changed regularly for greater safety, and all arrangements are supervised by the resident wardens.
The site is in a rural setting, surrounded by peaceful Suffolk countryside and is quite close to the Viking burial ground of Sutton Hoo. Felixstowe, with its beach, promenade and impressive Sunday market is also a short drive away. For more active guests, golf, angling and sailing are all available nearby.
This park is a real breath of fresh air. It’s very well maintained by its friendly and enthusiastic owners and staff. Although still very new, it appears to be going from strength to strength.
