Long Meadows Holiday Park is a beautiful family owned and run holiday park for owners of lodges and static caravans, and it is located on the east coast of England, a short distance from the city of Hull. The park is in the top ten holiday homes parks for sunshine hours in the north of England, and is a hugely popular retreat for families to use throughout the year.

Facilities available for caravan or lodge owners to use when they’re staying at Long Meadows include a laundrette, which is open all year round, and a convenience store that is open during the busy season. The store also doubles as a café serving breakfasts and early morning refreshments. The Northfield is the on-site restaurant and country bar, and is open for families to eat and enjoy the company of their fellow guests throughout the year.

The site also has a children’s playground for little ones to enjoy during their family caravan holidays and lodge holidays near Hull.

Guests staying at Long Meadows find the beach a stone’s throw away, which has clean waters and is ideal for swimming, with lifeguards on patrol throughout the summer. Near the holiday park there are miles of country walks to be enjoyed, with woodland and riverside walks also just waiting to be discovered. There are plenty of activities going on across the area, too, so you will certainly be able to enjoy water sports on the beach or cycling and horse riding through the local terrain.

The nearest town, Withernsea, also sits on the coast and has everything families need for fun and enjoyment while staying at Long Meadows.

Guests can stock up on essentials at the three major supermarkets in the town, while there are several smaller cafés and eateries along with family friendly pubs and restaurants to visit.

Withernsea also offers an array of leisure activities, with a public swimming pool, gym, and squash courts available. Free entertainment is run throughout the summer months and attracts tourists from miles around.

Among the must visit attractions in the town are the Pier Towers, and Withernsea Lighthouse.

The park is ideally situated for guests that are looking to explore the east coast of England, both to the north and to the south during their holidays.

A drive to the north will take guests to some of Yorkshire’s best loved tourist destinations, with the seaside resorts of Scarborough and Whitby amazing places to spend a day. Equally, a drive to the south to spend the day in Skegness is also worth it. In between, all of the towns and villages found on the coast offer a wonderful range of seafood restaurants along with local businesses and places to shop and get refreshed.

Inland, guests have the choice of enjoying the country market towns and villages that spread across Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire. Those that don’t mind a longer drive are encouraged to head into historic York, where there are sights, attractions, and leisure facilities for the whole family to enjoy, while Leeds and Wakefield are also within reach.
