Penisar Mynydd Caravan Park is a five-star, award winning caravan park situated in the beautiful North Wales countryside. The park is open from early March until mid-January, and offers a full range of pitches for motorhomes, tents and campervans, most of which are fully serviced with electricity and water hook ups.

Penisar Mynydd is excellent for anyone who is looking to escape the stresses of everyday life, and although the park is quiet and tranquil, some of the best attractions in the area are within easy reach.

Given the location of the park, simple outdoor pursuits such as walking, cycling, and fishing are the favoured activities of most visitors here. There is a small pond nearby, while you are surrounded by miles of countryside, which unlike much of Wales offers reasonably gentle and unchallenging terrain. At the same time, if you wish to challenge yourself to complete a more difficult hill walk, such places are again within easy reach.

A stay at Penisar Mynydd is not all about the countryside, however. You are close enough to the spectacular North Wales coastline to be in a number of seaside towns, such as Prestatyn and Rhyl, within half an hour’s drive. Not only do all of the towns along the north coast offer great beaches, they are also a hotbed of tourist entertainment facilities, with a variety of leisure centres, amusement parks, and golf courses all open for public use throughout the year. Those who are not looking to be so active can enjoy the great shopping and restaurant options that are on offer in such towns, too.

Snowdonia National Park can be reached within an hour, so if you are looking to explore even more woodland and inspirational surroundings, you have options outside of Penisar Mynydd itself. For a terrific Welsh outdoor experience, and a peaceful break but with everything you could wish for in reach, there are fewer better caravan parks in Wales. So why not stay here next time you visit Wales on your motorhome, camping and caravan holidays.
