Cable Gap Holiday Park

Season 1st March to 19th November (approx.)

Owner's description

Cable Gap Holiday Park is a friendly family run park that takes pride in providing first class facilities. We are a quiet park with no club house etc. Our caravans have achieved the highest Tourist Board Grading and the coveted Rose Award for many years.

You can have a carefree and relaxing time in one of our wide choice of quality caravans, sited only a stones throw from the beach.

We take pride in offering you a choice of 2 & 3 Bed roomed caravans in both Pavilion Beach range and Spa Beach range. All caravans are equipped to a high standard and include background heating in the main bedroom. There are also some caravans on the front row with a beach view. A one Bedroom caravan is available for couples only. We also have a number of double glazed and centrally heated caravans.

Well-behaved pets are welcome in a selected number of caravans.

We are situated just a few minutes walk from Bacton Village Centre with local shops, Public Houses, an amusement arcade and a Fish & Chip Shop. Bacton Woods is only a few minutes drive away, an excellent place for a picnic, walking or cycling.

what can I say...in 2010 we had visited cable gap for our 7th year, we are lucky to be going this year too. Our children (who are now 14 and 12) adore the holiday. Its peaceful, clean, friendly, welcoming, the caravans are always spotless, it has a stunning beach, wonderful walks, bike rides. There is no overcrowding... If you are looking for relaxation - this is the place for you. Our children have grown up building sand castles, teaching the dog to swin, trying to stop streams of water flowing into the sea with sand and rocks, rushing to the camp site shop to buy paper flags to proudly place on their immaculate castles. Arguing over who is in the bed near the window (kids eh!). We have had many a BBQ sat on the beach in the evening with a chilled bottle of white. Cable Gap is a hidden treasure and we really dont want to spoil that...so why am I writing this....

Cable Gap has to be, our very favourite 'hide-away!'The peaceful, tranquility of this venue,is for us,second to none. The caravan is always 'spit-spot'- being very well equipped.Close proximity to the sea affords lovely sea views.Within a short distance, idyllic walks can be enjoyed along the sea wall and beautiful sandy beach where Sandpipers are frequently to be seen.An added perk,is our dog can share a great holiday with us too!To hear the lapping of the waves late at night, remains a special memory, long after we have left.Ruth and Allan Epton along with Michelle, work extremely hard to ensure every detail is attended to.We have returned for several years and always ensure we've booked for the following year-before we leave!

I live up in Cumbria. The lake district is on our doorstep, but we like Norfolk as we have had our hols here for a number of years, and I have actually visited Cable Gap caravan park. What I found is quite different from the previous review, for I thought it was very clean and tidy,so much so that I have just sent off a request for 2009 prices. The people to whom I spoke on my visit I found to be courteous and professional and helpful. If like me you like your van next to the sea, this is the place to be.
