Porthtowan Tourist Park is a 5 acre touring site with 80 touring pitches spread over three level fields with one of those areas exclusively for adults only during off peak times. It is ideal for caravans, motorhomes, campervans and tents. Surrounded by farmland, we offer our visitors the opportunity to relax in beautiful peaceful countryside or walk the nearby South West Coast path and Mineral Trail.

New for the 2018 off peak season

We are pleased to announce that pitches 4 to 15 which has been known as the “quiet area” by our regulars for many years has now been dedicated for exclusive Adults only use during our off peak times, 1st May to 25th May, 3rd June to 12th July and 2nd September to 13th October. To book please select your chosen pitch when making a booking of 7 nights or more, alternatively for shorter stays please request “Adult only” area when making your booking ( subject to availability ).

Opening Dates

Porthtowan Tourist Park is open from the 23rd March to the 14th October 2018 and 1st April - 12th October 2019.

Booking Arrangements

Bookings can be made either online or by telephone. Advanced booking is essential, especially for stays at weekends, bank holidays and school holidays. For touring and camping bookings we require a 30% deposit with a minimum payment of £20.00 and the balance is due 28 days prior to arrival.
Touring
We also offer a selection of Premium Pitches which are hard standing with water tap and grey waste drainage. If you are booking 7 nights or more you can select your own pitch at the time of booking. Well behaved pets are welcome at the park.

Having been stung with campsites that don't deliver on the advertising, this site was a joy. A very friendly welcome after a long journey from Germany, very easily accessible pitches and immaculately clean washing facilities. First class exit/entry barrier with key fobs alleviated the worry I had about the safety of our brand new caravan.

The family owners are passionate about this site and I think this rubsoff on the guests to help them look after it. Nothing is too much trouble for them if you need some help.

It will be a while before we return, but only because we live in Germany

We thought we would try this site as it is shown in the ACSI guide. We use ACSI every year in France but not so far in the UK. The site is Great. Very welcoming on arrival. Pitches are large. Facilities spotless. Easy access to the coast and plenty of walks locally. A real find and now added to our 'regular' list.

Excellent caravan site. Well run and organised. Facilities are always clean, games room and play area for the children. Only 3/4 mile from the beach. Lovely views, excellent walking and good food from the bar on the beach.
