Our recent visit to the Dell Caravan Park was most disappointing. On arrival at the site mid afternoon the barrier code did not work but we eventually gained access when someone else on site used their code. We moved the caravan inside the park but did not know whether to pick a pitch or if one had been allocated. Again someone advised that a park warden was in attendance situated in a caravan at the far end of the site. The park warden was not aware that we were due to arrive as our name was not on his list. (A proper reception area would have prevented this fiasco).
The park warden guided us to a pitch but the electricity to our caravan was not working. The park warden discovered that 1 of the outlets had tripped and 1 had no power at all. For the remainder of the day the electricity on the whole site was interrupted on 2 occasions. (The electricity supply was disrupted on many occasions the following evening causing inconvenience).
The vehicular access to the pitches is poor with potholes and inadequate lighting on site creating a trip hazard. (A more substantial surface is needed).
At this present time one could not recommend The Dell caravan park.
