Teversal Camping and Caravan Park is a sprawling, six-acre site that provides excellent access to the Nottinghamshire countryside. The park is open throughout the year and proves popular with guests whatever the season and whatever the weather, welcoming family members of all ages and even the family pets, too. We offer 126 pitches that welcome motorhomes, touring campers, and tents, while there is also a selection of holiday homes available to rent, while safari tents can also be hired on site.

Serviced pitches are available for guests who would like one, with electric, drainage, and water hook-ups provided. Other on-site facilities include laundry, washing up, and chemical waste disposal points, while Wi-Fi can be used by guests throughout their stay. We can also organise a car hire service for motorhome users who want to explore this beautiful border area of Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire but don’t want to take their vehicle everywhere they go.

A children’s play area as well as access to our open spaces ensure that little ones will never get bored and always have somewhere to expend their energy, while we often accommodate caravan rallies on-site at various times throughout the year. Check before booking if you wish to be involved in an upcoming or future event.

There are numerous opportunities to enjoy recreation and activities in close proximity to the site. Our guests can enjoy fishing, golf, horse riding, sailing, and indoor swimming at a local pool, while there is a nearby games room and a snooker hall (pool is also available) for those who prefer gentler, indoor activities.

Our site is within easy reach of several popular market towns, including Sutton-in-Ashfield, Mansfield, and Chesterfield, which all offer outdoor activities in their own right, including fishing, walking, and cycling. Chesterfield is also famous for its crooked spire, while you’ll find a range of modern stores and restaurants in these traditional community towns.

Opposite our location, you’ll find a country park that has eight miles of walking trails, perfect for discovering nature and relaxing while not travelling too far from your base. Popular attractions that are within easy reach of our location include the Peak District National Park, Sherwood Forest, and Alton Towers Theme Park. Anyone looking to enjoy shopping and entertainment in a city location can easily travel into Derby or Nottingham.

Our park is a terrific base for exploring the surrounding countryside and beyond, and is loved by guests young and old who keep returning to stay with us.

It was our first time in a caravan and the ladies at the office were extremely helpful. The site is absolutely beautiful. The toilets/showers are the same as a 5* hotel. The walking trail is literally across the road. We sure enjoyed our first caravan holiday (even in November), and definitely will come back.

We visited this site for the first time htis weekend. What a really friendly site and the owners were really lovely. The amenities block really did blow me away with the marble decor etc and the showers were first class. Nice walking facilities nearby and a small shop onsite for essentials you may have forgot. The only negative point I have is like many other sites you have to be off site for 12 noon on the sunday which i feel is very unfair if you don't arrive till friday teatime.

My wife and I have just taken delivery of our first caravan, So we decided to try it out for one night to see how things work. After an hairraising journey by satnav found the staff very welcoming and polite. taking pity on us as beginners put us next to the most wonderfully clean shower block i have ever seen, 5* hotels have not got showers like these. the rest of the site we found to be very clean and tidy. the pub down the road was excellent. We have booked again but this time we are taking my mother to show her what 5* living is all about. Would have no hesitation in recomending this site to anyone

had another brilliant time at this fantastic site the toilets are the best we have seen, shame that some mindless idiots decided to take some of the hooks from the toilets and this morning flooded them all the staff have worked very hard to keep things nice for everyone it's a shame that these sought of people are allowed to be members of the caravan club.
we will be back again next year, all the staff were very helpful and pleasant thank you

Wow what can I say. Site is beautiful. Not to big but just nice. Staff very friendly and helpful and theres a nice little on site shop. Theres a large supermarket just up the road and newly refurbished pub just outside of the site. Lots of dog walks too nearby.
Here comes the best bit if your not sold already.
The amenities block. WOW, AMAZING! better than that in a 5* hotel. All Black marble with private vanity cubicles, each shower unit is very big (bigger than my bathroom at home) with a large shower area, sink, toilet and mirror in each one. I was shocked to see how nice they were. Very nice, clean and well layed out. Amazing price too for what you get, even cheaper if your in the camping and caravanning club.
Will definately be visiting here lots. Its also open all year round.

Stayed at this site for a few weekends and will go back many more. For dog owners this has to be one of the best sites around, miles of walks straight opposite the entrance to the site. With a little local knowledge you can walk to Hardwick Hall, the pub there has an excellent menu if a little expensive
The site is a credit to the owners spotlessly clean and the owners are around all the time maintaining the grounds, toilets, emptying bins etc.
