Oaklea is a 17-acre Caravan Club certificated (5CL) caravan site just 20 minutes walk from the centre of Woodhall Spa, Lincolnshire. This charming and picturesque campsite is an 'adults only' location, offering the ideal opportunity for guests to enjoy the best in tranquillity and relaxation during their motorhome and caravan holidays in Lincolnshire. There are 10 acres of parkland full of rare and beautiful trees and 7 acres of woodland garden.

Both motorhomes and touring caravans are welcome on the site. Most of the pitches at Oaklea are grass pitches, however there is a selection of hard standing pitches, too. All pitches have access to electricity and water hook ups.
A chemical waste disposal point is provided at the park, and well-behaved dogs are also allowed to stay on site, although there is no toilet or shower block at Oaklea.

Directly opposite Oaklea is the entrance to a 300 acre Forestry Commission plantation, Ostlers Wood, full of pine trees and perfect for longer walks, especially with a dog.

The park is within a mile of Woodhall Spa, a village well known for its quaint collection of shops, high quality restaurants, and bars, in addition to beautiful woodland walks and cycling routes.

If you enjoy golfing holidays in Lincolnshire, Oaklea is the perfect campsite for you, since the Woodhall Spa Golf Course with it's world-famous 'Hotchkin Course' is only a mile from the campsite. There is an outdoor swimming pool in Woodhall Spa and the famous 'Kinema in the Woods' is also in the village. This means guests staying at Oaklea always have plenty of options when looking for things to do near Woodhall Spa.

The site and indeed Woodhall Spa offers easy access to the Lincolnshire Wolds, which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The area features plenty of organised activities and pursuits, although it is also worth heading there yourself to find your own things to do. The Wolds feature rolling landscape that offers breathtaking views, with walking and cycling routes heading into miles of countryside and accessing several charming villages.

The area surrounding the park is renowned across the UK as being a favourite for touring, whether guests are looking for countryside or woodland, quiet relaxation or fun activities.

Guests can even enjoy the very best nature and wildlife without leaving their surroundings at Oaklea, as the park has a beautiful array of plant life that is carefully tended to by the owners, while the site is also a favourite among bird watchers.

Away from Oaklea, Woodhall Spa, and the Lincolnshire Wolds there is still plenty for guests to enjoy. Visit the riverside city of Lincoln, with it's famous Cathedral and recently renovated Castle and Boston with it's parish church 'The Stump' - visible for miles around. These are the two nearest large market towns to the campsite and both are great places to visit for a day out, with a range of attractions and things to do for people of all interests.

The spectacular Tattershall Castle is five miles away and owned by the National Trust. Close to it is RAF Coningsby with the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and museum. The only flying Lancaster bomber in the UK is based there, together with Spitfire and Hurricane fighters.

A short drive takes guests out to the east coast of England. If you fancy a day trip to the seaside, the popular resort of Skegness is the obvious place to visit. Plus there are towns and villages situated all along the coast, as well as a charming collection of sandy beaches that are idea for relaxing.

During your stay at Oaklea it is worth taking a longer drive over the border into the Norfolk countryside. Here you can visit King’s Lynn, with its quaint historic river port, shopping and entertainment and the stunning North Norfolk coast.
