This is a four-star family holiday park on the outskirts of Newquay, which has been owned and operated by the Hautot family for over 60 years. It is open from early April until the middle of September every year. Modern and well equipped holiday bungalows are available for hire, while guests with touring caravans, campervans, motorhomes and tents are welcomed onto the site, too.

A wide range of pitches are available at Trencreek Holiday Park. The pitches range from standard grass pitches for tent campers to electric hook-up pitches, pitches with water and drainage hook-ups in addition to electricity, and hardstandings with electric, water and drainage.

Guests also have the freedom to choose their pitch, subject to availability, while the park’s facilities are within easy reach no matter where on the site you are staying. Facilities offered at Trencreek Holiday Park include water points for those without hook-ups on their pitch, showers and toilets, a dishwashing area, a laundrette and chemical waste disposal points.

There is plenty for guests to do during a stay at Trencreek Holiday Park, with the outdoor swimming pool and adjacent sun terrace always busy when the weather is good. A paddling pool is also provided for little ones. The games room at the site has pool tables and amusement arcades and is a great place to go during the evening or when the weather is poor. Children looking to stay outdoors but on dry land can have hours of fun in the play area at the park, which features a popular sandpit. Keen anglers can enjoy coarse fishing free of charge on any of the park’s ponds.

An on-site cafeteria serves food and drink throughout the day, with takeaway options available for those looking to eat back at their accommodation. The park also has a well-stocked convenience store, perfect for picking up essentials in addition to camping accessories and taking care of gas exchanges.

When evening sets in and it’s time to relax, guests can kick back at the on-site clubhouse, The Trencreek Tavern, which serves a great selection of beers, wines and spirits, while also providing live entertainment throughout the open season, including bingo, discos and quizzes.

The bus stop is right outside the park entrance for guests looking to visit Newquay, although the town can also be reached via a gentle 20-minute walk for those that prefer – it's also a five-minute drive away. Newquay has something for everyone, from its famous beaches that are popular with surfers and other water sports lovers to its lively town centre with a quirky collection of shops and places to get something to eat and drink. There's also a golf club here and a zoo.

Stay here on your motorhome, camping and caravan holidays in Cornwall and you can also get to Padstow by car in about half an hour, while Truro is about a half hour drive in the opposite direction, and St Austell is also about a 30-minute drive away.
