There is so much to see and do which is within easy travelling distance, including Devon and Cornwall, with Boscastle about 6 miles and Tintagel plus Bude, Ilfracombe, Bideford all along the coastline.

Due to its great location most of the attractions of Devon and Cornwall are within an easy drive and the nearby area has been highlighted on tv screens with the delights of Port Isaac (Doc Martin) & Padstow (Rick stein) shown.
Bude , itself lies at the centre of the most dramatic and scenic stretch of the South West coastal footpath and there are lots of local villages and landmarks to explore. Alternatively stroll around Bude and relax with a Cornish cream tea. The Atlantic Heritage Coast has always been renowned with miles of clean golden sand beaches and breathtaking scenery.
There are the villages of Clovelly and Boscastle to explore and you can even visit the moors of Bodmin & Dartmoor.
The eden project is a must whilst in the area.
With some of the best beaches in the country on your doorstep and fully life guarded during the main season don't miss the chance to try your surfing or 'boogie' boarding skills. For those seriously interested there are a number of surf schools locally and reception will be pleased to give you contact details of these and any of the other multitude of activities the area has to offer.
Locally you can be active or as relaxed as you want, there is something for everyone from golfing to fishing to horse riding and other outdoor pursuits.

Super friendly staff who can't do enough for you.Good site shop with a good range of products with reasonable pricing.Good size pitches and well drained.Very clean shower/toilet blocks.Free minibus daily to Bude and back.Huge dog exercise field adjacent to site.All in all excellent value site and we will be returning.
