Whitemark Farm is a quiet Camping and Caravanning Club Certificated Site found in the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Oxfordshire.

This family friendly and dog friendly park is open from 1 March until 30 November (weather dependent) each year and has space for up to five caravans or motorhomes and 50 tents. Electric hook-ups are not available. Indeed, facilities overall are quite basic, but that's part of the charm of staying here. That's not to say you go without. There are toilet and shower blocks plus sinks for dishwashing, as well as a range of communal facilities including a kettle, microwave, fridge and chemical disposal points. Soft ball games are allowed, space permitting.

There's also an on-site shop at Whitemark Farm. Products on sale here include free-range eggs from the farm’s hens, homemade preserves and cakes, grocery essentials, camping supplies and secondhand books. There is also a small market held on-site three days a week, where guests can pick up fruit and vegetables, with fresh fish available once a week.

If you've pitched here and you're looking for somewhere else to eat or drink, then the market town of Watlington is just a two-minute drive or a 15-minute walk from this campsite. There are three pubs here which welcome families and serve local ales and food. There's also a small supermarket, a popular fish and chip shop, an Indian restaurant and takeaway, a coffee shop and deli, and a butcher.

The Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is just waiting for you to explore it when you've pitched at Whitemark Farm on your camping, motorhome and caravan holidays in Oxfordshire. There are a great many footpaths and cycleways that you can use to find your way across the Chilterns.

You're also just over an hour and 30 miles from the Ashridge Estate near Berkhamsted, a large and beautiful National Trust owned property. Another nearby National Trust property is Greys Court, an impressive Tudor house with attractive gardens that's within half an hour of this campsite. You could also visit the Dunstable Downs, the highest point in the East of England. The pretty village of Great Missenden is about a 40-minute drive from this Certified Site and the whole family will love visiting the Roald Dahl Museum and Cafe Twit – Roald Dahl lived in this village for nearly 40 years.

The dreaming spires of Oxford are about a 40-minute drive from this campsite. The beauty and magnificence of this ancient university city is sure to inspire you. You could visit the Ashmolean Museum of Art and Archaeology, the Bodleian Library, or go punting along the Isis (which is what the River Thames is called at this point). For even more outstanding architecture, Blenheim Palace is also about 40 minutes from Whitemark Farm.

Other places of interest in the area include Marlow, which has a prominent bridge and is less than half an hour by car from this campsite, and Windsor, about 40 minutes from Whitemark Farm, where you can go to Windsor Castle, enjoy some retail therapy, wander in the majestic Great Park and even go to Legoland.

If you're looking for somewhere small, quiet and peaceful to stay in Oxfordshire, Whitemark Farm could well be it.

We are centrally based for several National Trust properties.

Numerous footpaths, cycle ways in immediate area.
Recreation park 15 min. walk with children's' play park, outdoor gym, space to play ball games, skate park.
