The Willows is a stunning caravan park and one of the very best in Gloucestershire. The park is open from March to January, and offers a range of serviced touring pitches that welcome motorhomes, caravans, and tents. There is also a number of permanent static homes based at the site, and if you get the opportunity to buy one it is well recommended that you take up the offer.
The park is split into two areas that both offer amazing views of the surrounding landscape. A section of the River Severn is only 100metres from the edge of the park, and is a perfect place to spend a relaxing day fishing – all you need to do is pick up a permit from the building next to the river, which happens to be a pub that serves great food and the best local ales available.
The Willows is a short distance outside of Tewkesbury, which is filled with an eclectic combination of local independent stores and larger brands, as well as entertainment and leisure facilities and a supermarket for stocking up on your holiday essentials.
The M5 motorway is also within easy reach, and the historic towns and cities of Cheltenham, Gloucester, and Worcester are all just a short drive away. You are also close to the Welsh border, so if you wish to explore even more countryside of even check out Brecon Beacons National Park, you can get there and back easily within the day.
Rural areas such as this are always amazing for their friendly villages and hidden charms, and there are many for you to find in this area.
For a relaxing holiday retreat and a gateway to some of Gloucestershire’s most amazing places, as well as attractions further afield, The Willows is definitely the place to stay.
