Owner's description
The site is on the fringe of the village of Braemar, an ideal centre for walkers and mountain bikers. Herds of red dear room freely and you may also glimpse capercaillie. For some spectacular scenery, take the high road to Tomintoul for a view of the countryside towards the rugged coastline and sea beyond.

Excellent location for ski-ing, scenic walks and glimpses of wild deer on the hills. Braemar has a village store, chemist, public houses. Main shopping in Blair Gowrie/Huntley. Site facilities good, but pipes often frozen in winter months. Good drying room on site. Had a seasonal pitch for three months 2009 - only site I have been on where warden had a negative attitude.
