Owner's description
Found in the breath taking Scottish Highlands, Bunroy Caravanning and Camping Park is one of the truly great parks for exploring the beauty that will be on your doorstep during a stay here. Open from April to October, the park offers a number of touring pitches suitable for both caravans and tents, as well as a small number of self catering holiday lodges that are available for hire.
Bunroy Caravan Park is within easy reach of all the attractions in the surrounding area, whether you are considering taking on Ben Nevis, the United Kingdom’s highest peak, visiting the famous town of Fort William, or discovering the adventure that is on offer throughout the Highlands. The park is set in secluded parkland, where the River Roy meets the River Spean, and is well sheltered by surrounding woodland.
The natural location means that fishing in one of the two rivers is a must, while those looking for something more adrenaline filled can enjoy canoeing up and down the rivers, so long as conditions are relatively calm and not deemed dangerous. The nature of Bunroy is such that you feel like you are miles away from any sort of civilisation, yet within just a 10 minute walk you will find the excellent little village of Roy Bridge, which has two hotels with bars and restaurants that are open for anyone to enjoy. Fort William has many amenities, as well as a golf course, and is a great starting point for a Ben Nevis Trek.
Bunroy Caravan Park is situated on the A86 trunk road, which leads to all of the other major towns and attractions in the North of Scotland.
This park is perfect for outdoor lovers who are happy to be at one with nature and want to explore their natural surroundings. For stunning scenery and a raw, emotive location, you will find few better places anywhere in the United Kingdom.
