Just returned here with our tourer after a break of 8 years from caravaning and it is still as good as ever, but with the added bonus of hard wired TV points !!
The touring area is a small very clean and well kept area with hard standings for all pitches, shower facilities are of a good standard and always clean with plenty of hot water. While we were there there was a good mixture of couples and families all of whom were very friendly and enjoying their stay. There is a seperate playing field with swings and climbing frames for the kids. The shop is a bit of a blast from the past, small old fashioned but stocked with all the essentials, the bar are is the same a cosy old fashioned full of character place for a beer.
The site is perhaps a 15min stroll from Pooley Bridge through two fields and a woodland path (not suitable for prams)or alternatively you can walk along the road, but there is no pavements.
Note if you want the evening sun pitch on the left hand side of feild as you drive in, as the rest is in shade from early evening.
All in all very friendly, clean, and a safe place for kids, a highly recommended site that is a credit to it's owners, BEWARE WE WILL BE BACK...

Little gem of a site.

Very relaxed friendly atmosphere, with all the necessary services available and play area for children.

Clean toilet/shower facilities with laundry room, very large spaces available for caravan, awning and car.

The pictures do not do it credit and need updating.

Would recommend highly as good value for money.
