Owner's description
Waterside Holiday Park and Spa sounds like an exclusive and luxurious resort, and a five-star rating certainly does it no harm at all in that respect. Waterside is one of the best holiday parks in Dorset, and offers a range of owned and to rent luxury holiday homes, as well as seasonal pitches for campers looking to travel there during the peak season. The park is situated yards away from the beautiful Bowleaze Cove, one of the most popular stretches of this amazing coastline that attracts thousands of visitors every year.
Open from late March until early November, Waterside has won many awards for the quality of the facilities throughout the complex, which many have likened to a top hotel. Waterside puts on quality live entertainment every night they are open, and often during the day, too, to ensure that their guests do not need to venture into Weymouth or another nearby town, and are able to kick back and relax without having to worry about driving home or paying for a cab.
There are indoor swimming pools and slides aplenty, perfect for toddlers learning to splash for the first time, older children looking to have fun, or adults looking to relax or push their fitness with a focused swim. Add the children’s adventure play area to an indulgent Spa experience, ‘Waves’ Bar, and Waterside Restaurant, and it is easy to see why this Dorset masterpiece is so loved by holidaymakers and holiday critics in equal measure.
If Waterside somehow is not enough to keep you busy during your stay, there are a number of amazing attractions close by, including Weymouth Beach and Harbour, Monkey World, Weymouth Tower, and a children’s petting farm and sub-tropical garden complex.
For those that love to be beside the sea, whether to stay on site or explore their surroundings, Waterside Holiday Park and Spa is the ideal location.

we stayed at our parents caravan at Twyn Ghyll when the park opened on the 1st of march .what a differance to being in a big city it was, lazy walks and great food in the evening at the buck inn down the road. Only stayed four nights but came back home completely chilled , cant wait till the summer when we can use it again going to try a day out in Skipton
: March in 2012John and Fran Honeyman love the freedom that owning a Holiday Home gives them. They have owned on the park for over seven years and knew on their first visit that it was the place for them. "The park is lovely, really clean and tidy with amazing views and lots of space between the Holiday Homes. The grandkids enjoy the play area and the pool while for the big kids the Buck Inn down the road is fantastic."
: October in 2010I spent a few weekends at this park last summer, staying at my sister's caravan and I loved it so much we are definately buying there this spring. The thing that we loved about it was the peace and quiet. Places to visit in the area and the local pub is within walking distance. There is the children's play area and football pitch, which my nephews had great fun on.

I am very disapointed with this Park, all i wanted was a nice park where my Foster children (all over 11yrs old) could play out. this park is NOT for children over 5yrs. NO children are allowed to play out without adult supervision? the park is for pensioners with the odd grand child. i would never recommend buying a holiday home here if you are under 75yrs and have children over 5yrs.

Twyn Ghyll Country Park rated 5 stars by the English Tourist Board & Visit England. Stunning Location with greats walks and places to visit close by . Public House serving excellent food 200 yds from the park.Adequate facilities on park just enough for what you need, pictures on the Internet don't do it justice well worth a visit just for lunch in the pub
