Nice season and static pitches but for tourers not worth the premium it charges. One of the places that charges per child/dog/ awning etc so for family of 4 with a dog it’s cheaper to get a travelodge if it’s an overnight. That said the money is placed into the Site as it is clean and tidy and well maintained. Small onsite pub was nice and staff friendly. Toilets are clean all be it small portacabin dressed up as a log cabin. Showers are tiny and cost extra to use(tokens only). Only tourer Access to site is along a really bad road(that’s not the site owners fault as 3 ways in and only 1 suitable for caravans). Site is on a hill and even use of ramps couldn’t get van level. Also very tight. There would be No way I could have got van parked if I hadn’t got a motor mover as space opposite was not enough. Signs up everywhere saying what is NOT allowed. A lot of season vans with their kids acting like they own the place with them running about in between vans.
I have stayed in better sites at half the price

Terrible expensive dishonest people who took thousands off us, park was not up to much had loads of trouble. Keep well away. This is sound advice. They had the nerve to charge us for a new shower they fitted but never worked properly. You get locked out if you don't pay what they say you owe, if you disagree, well!!!!! See facebook. The worst site ever heard of. Full review on facebook. Minus 1000 stars.
All 100% factual and true, will be more than happy to tell you more.

Had to pay for showers in very scruffy block.
Pathways in black grit which is a nightmare to keep out of unit.
Grass long, water tap in middle of a slope in long wet grass.
Impossibly cramped van placements with nowhere to park
Avoid if you can

what a wonderful site, staff were very freindly, good atmosphere. toilets and showers were clean and tidy, no litter around. Cracking little bar onsite, they do cash bingo and karokee, no noise heard at night even thou it was fully booked. glad we went, have booked up to go for aug bank holiday

We have just come back from Bobby Shafto and would never go again during a bank holiday. The sit was over crowded full of cars and all tents/caravans were very close together. There were rules about noise on the site but people totally disregarded this. The toilets were inadequate for the amount of people on site and so resulted in them flooding when people had been in the shower and the floor being wet and dangerous.
