After having a horrendous experience at Rockley Park (Haven Site) moved here.

Complete contrast and for us perfect in every way. Far better value, immaculate vans and site and friendly helpful staff - perfect. !!!

Dorset

Whilst this camp site was clean and tidy, it was also expensive per night and we had to keep switching from one pitch to another because, we were told by an rather officious member of staff, that 'someone might want to book (the pitches that were available for longer) for a week' - there were campers moving pitch all over the place and the same member of staff said briskly 'you're a motorhome, you can move easily' when I queried this policy, which made me feel as though I was nothing more that a cash generator (and not a very good one at that!) There was also road noise, no entertainment other than a room containing a pool table and a football table, but what was worst of all, the whole site was absolutely jam packed with units squeezed in to every available nook and cranny, row upon row of them. Definitely would not go back and did not appreciate the attitude of the two members of staff encountered, both of whom seemed to have very little empathy with their customers and rather got the impression that they felt that the place would be much better if only the customers weren't in the way!! Someone in a site van even drove by on the stroke of 11.00 on check out day, slowing down by our caravan, presumably to check that we were definitely going! This same individual had previously asked what we were doing (on a different day), when we had been asked to move pitch by the receptionist. Also, grass cutting seemed to take priority over everthing - the people next to us were actually asked to move their car out of the way and then had it covered in dust (as was my unit) by the mower, which kicked up lots of little stones and I heard these hitting my unit as the mower went over the same piece of grass FIVE times. Of course, it would impossible to prove any damage was not there already. Never mind, at least we were close to the beautiful beach at Boscombe, but will not return to Meadowbank as my particular experience was not very impressive. It certainly IS clean, though, with pretty hanging baskets.

This is a little gem of a park located in Christchurch, Dorset.
We stayed in September 2007 and found all aspects from booking efficiecy and welcome to cleanliness of accommodation and facilities to be 1st class.
The park is quiet with limited entertainment and leisure facilities however the convenient location and beautiful riverside setting more than made up for this. In fact it probably helped give the park its lovely relaxed feel.
We were told the park has won awards for its flowers and judging by the beautiful hanging baskets on display we were not suprised.
All in all a lovely peaceful, friendly, clean and welcoming family managed park.
We can't recommend highly enough and have re booked for 2008. Maybe we'll see you there!!!

East Sussex

Having stayed at Meadowbank Holidays for two weeks during 2004 I can without hesitation say that it is one of the cleanest and well kept touring parks on the South Coast.

The park is situated next to a lovely river which has fishing and is also the closest Touring Park to Bournemouth and wonderfully located for visiting the New Forest and Dorset Heritage Coast.

The staff are efficient and friendly and there is also a convenient bus service into Bournemouth next to the Park entrance.

The Park has a small well stocked shop, play equipment, launderette and games room. It doesn't have a pool or club however this didn't pose a problem as there was so much to do in the surrounding area with a public pool very near by. The lack of enterainment actually ensured a more peaceful and relaxing evironment than we normally find on the larger more commercial style holiday parks.

All in all we would highly recommend this park to people requiring a quiet, clean, friendly and relaxing holiday.
