The directions to this site are appalling.
The L701 does not exist – it should state L3011 (signposted Clonea Strand). (We pointed this out to the Management, who seemed unconcerned and uninterested.)
But by far the better approach from either direction for a caravan is to take the R675 from the N25 Dungarvan ByPass, then turn right onto the L3009. The site is on the left before you get to the Holiday Resort. On entering, park on the left before the STOP sign to check in – don’t go past it, or you’ll have to reverse! Showers are by token, but wifi is free. Electricity is only 6 amp. Credit cards are accepted, but we were billed in sterling in the restaurant. The pitches are large. The site’s website
http://www.bayviewcaravancamping.com does not seem to exist, and the Management (clearly not caravanners) did not respond to our emails.
