Sheltered from the fenland winds, our Cambridge Site is a great base for exploring – especially by bike because the area is so flat. Wildlife lovers should look out for the woodpeckers and muntjac deer.

A number of walks and guided tours are available and you can also go punting on the river Cam. The city’s Park and Ride bus stop is one mile from the site.
the village of Great Shelford is around a mile away and has a supermarket, Post Office, bank and pubs serving food. Further afield there are several National Trust properties worth a visit, including Wimpole Hall and Anglesey Abbey, which is set in 40 hectares of gardens and is home to the Fairhaven collection of paintings and furniture.
