"Right on the edge of the Atlantic"
Our most westerly Club Site is Sennen Cove on the Land’s End peninsula. Within a few miles of both the north and south coasts of Cornwall, there is a variety of scenery within easy reach and plenty of activities for all the family.
You can learn to surf at Sennen Cove itself, which is in the east corner of Whitesand Bay, a couple of miles from the site. Further south is Land’s End, England’s western tip, which has spectacular scenery as well as five family attractions including a Dr Who exhibition.
You can visit Land’s End or the pretty north coast town of St Ives – famed for its craft shops and Taste Gallery – using the bus that passes the site entrance. Other places worth a trip include St Michael’s Mount, a magical rocky island with a castle and church; Penzance, which has historic harbour areas and the open-air Minack Theatre, dramatically located on a cliff-side.

What a fantastic site! The setting is beautiful, and the facilities on site are spotless. The pitches are good too - not too close together, and flat, which makes a nice change in Cornwall! However, the biggest bonus is the staff. From the moment we arrived they were very friendly and welcoming, taking time and trouble to make sure we had the kind of pitch we wanted, and going out of their way to ensure that our stay was enjoyable. We had some trouble with our campervan while we were there, and again, nothing was too much trouble to ensure that our holiday carried on smoothly. Thank you - we will definitely be coming back!
Practical Caravan Great Escapes recommended park July 2005
This simple field site is perched on a hill above Whitesand Bay, about two miles from Sennen Cove. Thick Cornish banks offer protection from the sea breeze and all around are agricultural fields, so noise is not an issue. You are well located for visiting Land’s End, St Just and attractions such as the Minack Theatre and Geevor Tin Mine. If Butlins is what you are after, then this is not the site for you. However, it’s in a lovely location, and the modern wash facilities are of the usual Camping and Caravanning Club high standards. Be careful when departing, since visibility is poor when pulling out of the drive.21 Jul 2005
