Well signposted, easy booking in procedure with friendly staff. Pitches are pre-booked but if you haven't been here before, it could have done with a member of staff taking you to the pitch. All tarmac & level pitches, with a fair distance between units. Toliet & shower blocks in fair condition, could be improved with more effort. Entertainment was excellent with a great indoor pool (outdoor only open in high season) & nightly acts in the bar / lounge. We used the restaurant every day, but as there were six in our party, we struggled to get a table to seat everyone. Most tables were 'open' to the noise from the entertainment area or the skittle alley, which made this area rather un-welcoming.The restaurant would be my major criticism, which is rather annoying as the food was fairly good (a bit expensive though). The lakes around the complex offer pedaloes etc. and the indoor play area is very good for the little ones. Two of our party hired one of the pine lodges, which were in excellent condition and a really good size. These were well equiped and are a good option if you wish to take along relatives who do not have a caravan of their own.

Practical Caravan Top 100 Parks Award 2008
Situated near Cirencester, in a peaceful wooded location, Hoburne has good access to the beautiful Cotswolds and enough activities to keep the
whole family entertained. On site you can enjoy the indoor and outdoor pools, crazy golf, tennis, ten-pin bowling and fishing on the lake. The surrounding area is
also a great place for walkers and birdwatchers. All pitches are hardstanding with electric hook-up. Water points, washroom and laundry facilities are never far away, either.

Practical Caravan Top 100 Parks Awards 2004
Well sign-posted from the A419, this site lies in the heart of the ‘Water Park’ area near the old Roman town of Cirencester. This is a large site, with good tarmac roads throughout, and level hardstanding on all pitches. The larger ‘superior’ plots have a gravel area for awnings and are divided by well-tended low hedging, while the other pitches are surrounded by neatly trimmed grass.
All pitches have 16A hook-up, and it’s only a short hop to water points, bins and toilet facilities. The four toilet blocks are spotlessly clean and are heated when necessary, and in addition to the usual showers (push-button with hot water) and toilets, there are baby-changing areas and free hair dryers.
Set in a peaceful wooded location around a small lake this site offers plenty for sporty and placid campers alike. Children will be kept busy from morning until evening, with swimming (both indoors and outdoors), pedaloes, cycling, a kids’ club, ten-pin bowling, indoor soft-play area, and an outdoor climbing park all on offer.
Visitors can eat out in the large restaurant, or for more informal dining there’s a pool-side snack bar and take-away. Evening entertainment is regular and varied.
Just minutes from the campsite is the Keynes Country Park, which proudly boats an award for one of Britain’s cleanest lakeside beaches. The many water-based activities available here include sailing, wind-surfing and jet-skiing.

This site is perfect for an active family holiday. It is a large, flat park with tarmac access roads, which are ideal for cycling, skateboarding, rollerblading and scootering. There are also a number of children’s entertainments, including a swimming pool, an amusement arcade, an indoor soft play area, a tennis courts, canoeing, crazy golf, fishing, a mini-bowling alley and table tennis. The surrounding area has plenty to offer families, too, including wildlife gardens and a barn owl centre. And of course, for many, Gloucestershire will always mean the scenic Cotswolds.
All of the pitches have a grass surround, and the super-pitches have a little more space and an awning area. The six facility blocks are well serviced and free of charge. Disabled caravanners will find washing facilities in block four and at the clubhouse. Hoburne’s dishwashing and laundry facilities are adequate and well lit. The chemical waste points are indoors and have a deep basin with their own flushing system.
All of the site’s, 292 pitches are serviced by 16A electric hook-ups. There are also 91 superior pitches which have a little more space in which to spread and a shingle area for your awning. With a choice of four on-site eateries, you won’t have to spend too much time at the cooker either. Dogs are prohibited, though.
