Rowntree Park Caravan and Motorhome Club Site

York, North Yorkshire

Rowntree Park Caravan Club site is a wonderful holiday park, sat on the banks of the River Ouse a stone’s throw away from the centre of York – ideal for a city break.

This campsite is open throughout the year and is open to both members and non-members of the Caravan Club. There are 102 pitches that welcome motorhomes and touring caravans to Rowntree Park Caravan Club site, all of which are hardstanding. There is also a small space where guests with tents are able to pitch, too.

Careful and considered landscaping at this campsite not only looks great, it also gives each of the campsite's pitches its own space, assuring all holidaymakers a real feeling of privacy.

In recent years there has been much redevelopment work around the park, including the refurbishing of the toilet and shower blocks, while there is also a new vegetable preparation room for those needing extra room for cooking, a parent and baby block, and an information area located in reception that guests can use for planning their days out.

There are plenty of open spaces on the site and in the surrounding parks for children and pets to run around and enjoy themselves, in addition to numerous spots along the River Ouse where a relaxing day of fishing can be enjoyed.

Such is the proximity of Rowntree Park Caravan Club site to York that guests can enjoy a scenic walk into the city centre, either along the charming banks of the Ouse or through the quaint streets of the outer city. With so much to do in York, guests often find themselves walking into the city daily. Among the most popular attractions in York are the York Castle Museum and the old York city and castle walls.
