Visit Dorset on your holidays and take in one of the county's prettiest and most famous views at the aptly named Chesil Vista Holiday Park.
This holiday park is a stunning family holiday destination found on the Dorset coast, a short distance from the thriving south coast resort of Weymouth. The park offers a range of fully equipped, comfortable and modern holiday homes for hire, with a selection also available to buy for guests that fall in love with the region and wish to make Weymouth and Chesil Vista Holiday Park their permanent holiday retreat.
There are plenty of things to do at Chesil Vista Holiday Park, with entertainment and activities available for all ages, as well as catering for a wide range of interests and passions.
The leisure complex is one of the most popular attractions at the park. Open from 9am to 7pm, it features a heated indoor swimming pool and waterslides, while guests looking to keep on top of their workout regime even when on holiday can enjoy the exercise centre. In addition, there’s a sauna and solarium for those looking to kick back and relax without having to use a treadmill or lift even the smallest weight.
Away from the pool and leisure complex, there is a fabulous indoor play area, with three storeys of fun dedicated to keeping little ones occupied for hours at a time. There is a dedicated indoor play area for kids under four, which will put many parents' minds at ease. In addition, the games room features a pool table and amusement arcades where gamers of all ages frequently gather for friendly competition.
Guests looking for outdoor fun can enjoy the sports field found at the park, with ball games and kite flying among the activities frequently enjoyed, while there is a large pirate themed children’s play area, too.
Also at this holiday park is The Chesil Bistro, while a takeaway facility is available for those looking to relax in their accommodation. The Venue is where guests can get a drink and enjoy the live entertainment. It's a great resort for a fun filled family holiday.
Outside this holiday park, explore the stunning West Dorset Heritage Coast. The famous Chesil Beach is, unsurprisingly, nearby. But you can also reach well known, breathtaking natural landmarks such as Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door in about 40 minutes (by car). These sit on the Purbeck Heritage Coast, which is also well worth some of your time.
Visit Weymouth, a 10-minute drive from this campsite. Whether you want a meal out, some retail therapy or you need to top up your holiday supplies, it's not far from this holiday park. Enjoy the harbour and take the children to the Weymouth Sea Life Tower.
Or visit Dorchester, the county town of Dorset and a market town that's rich in history – and has links to the author and poet Thomas Hardy. Dorchester is also in the heart of the Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, a collection of lovely landscapes stretching across much of this county. Long distance walking routes such as the Wessex Ridgeway and the South West Coast Path pass through this AONB, plus stretches of the National Cycle Network, making this region easy to explore at your own pace.
So why not stay at Chesil Vista Holiday Park next time you're looking for a family friendly, fun filled break on the south coast – and discover more about the region, too.

It is the location that sells this site. Nice pub and shop on site and nice walks on beach. Perfect for Weymouth and surrounding area. Look forward to going back soon. It is still a working farm which adds to the outdoor feel. The tent field has very good views of the beach
