The site is small and friendly. It is adjacent to Berry Head Country Park and the Coastal Footpath, winding along the cliffs to the picturesque River Dart, passing Mansands and the gardens of Colyton Fishacre (N.T.). An ideal centre for exploring the whole of South West England.

It is a family site, and in the interests of peace and quiet there is no club house/ bar on the site. Brixham Rugby Club, just down the road, welcomes our guests to all of their facilities. The Brixham Indoor Swimming Pool is next to the Rugby ground.

Just along the coastal footpath is St Marys Bay, whilst access is a little awkward it is a very quiet and picturesque beach, part sand and part shingle. In the other direction is Berry Head with its bird watch Sanctuary and historic Napoleonic Forts. The light-house on the headland is the shortest but highest in England.
