Holmans Wood Caravan Park is an award winning holiday park in Devon, set across 12 acres of beautiful unspoiled landscape in the countryside. Surrounded by rolling hills and woodland, Holmans Wood Caravan Park provides a tranquil and sheltered escape from everyday life.
Holidaymakers that wish to travel to this campsite following the conclusion of the main season can take advantage of a number of seasonal winter pitches, which are available until the end of the first week in January. Only a small number of these are available, so early booking is recommended for anyone looking for a winter escape to Holmans Wood, particularly over the Christmas and New Year periods.
The campsite welcomes guests in tents, caravans, campervans and motorhomes. All pitches have electric hook-ups, a water tap and also waste water drainage. The site's de luxe pitches are hardstanding, plus there are premier pitches to accommodate extra large units.
The site has 10 tent pitches in addition to 91 pitches suitable for touring caravans and motorhomes. Serviced pitches are available for those wishing to take advantage of water and electricity hook-ups in order to enjoy the highest level of convenience during their camping trip.
In addition to these pitches, there are a small number of holiday homes on the site available for purchase. All of these are fully serviced and have central heating and double glazed windows, while holiday home owners also benefit from their own dedicated car park.
A wide range of convenient facilities are available to those staying at Holmans Wood Caravan Park. There are toilets and washrooms, including dedicated disabled facilities, a laundrette with a spin dryer and ironing facilities, a washing up area, a children’s play area and outdoor, covered picnic tables. If you're visiting the area for the first time, the handy information room on site will let you get information about what’s going on in the local area, so you can plan your excursions outside of the campsite. In addition, within five minutes of the park, you will find a local store, where you can stock up on all of your holiday essentials.
The beautiful market town of Chudleigh is only one mile from the Holmans Wood Caravan Park, and has a number of local businesses, a post office, a coffee shop, a stylish deli and a number of pubs, ensuring guests can always get refreshed without venturing too far.
Although Dartmoor National Park is easily within reach of this site campsite in Devon, right outside the park are miles and miles of rolling hills and countryside, as well as wild gardens, rivers and ponds. The open spaces are ideal for anyone looking to indulge in some sporting activities, while those looking to relax can enjoy a spot of fishing or head to one of the local golf courses. Adrenaline junkies will find a climbing and caving centre close to this campsite where they can climb, abseil and have as much fun as they wish. Lovers of the beach can easily reach the famous Jurassic Coast and visit charming seaside towns such as Teignmouth and Dawlish, while the main A38 road close to the park will take you north into Exeter or south into Plymouth, both cathedral cities with plenty to do for people of all interests and ages.
In short, this is a super base for your camping, motorhome and caravan holidays in Devon.

My husband and I have just had a lovely week at this site. It is so peaceful and on the bus route, bus stop hail and ride just outside of the entrance. The toilet facilities were spotless and also the showers. It has a wash room for doing any washing, drying and ironing, also washing sinks for doing any washing up. You can watch the rabbits hopping around through your cravan window and Woodpeckers on the trees.
There is a garage about 5 mins up the road, where you can get a newspaper and the essentials like milk etc.
Perhaps they could do with having wifi there though, just a thought.
The owner and staff were very friendly, we will definately go back there.

We stayed at this site in May.It is lovely, with spacious pitches. Our deluxe pitch had gravel plenty wide enough for caravan, awning and car.
There is a spacious play area for children, with plenty of open space for ball games etc.
The facilities were spotless. We enjoyed nice walks around thier meadow field. It was so nice to visit a site where there was space left to enjoy!
Although there is no shop there is a garage a short walk away for essentials so we didn't miss one.
A nice park that we have already booked to return to!
